Hello Sweetheart :) I hope you've had a really good day :) I did :) I did a few writing revisions for my hostess, checked on the dogs I'm dogsitting, and ran a bunch of errands. It was nice...for a Monday ;) I received back in the mail today a gift I'd left for you on my trip. After I had tried to reach a gal I'd met on my trip, the guy owner called me to discuss my calls and to say that what I'd left for you to get was "never gonna happen." And today I received confirmation of that. He'd unwrapped my gift to you and didn't return my card I'd left for you. At least I have your gift back intact, but I'm really really really soul sorry I don't have that card for you anymore. :( I'm really sorry :( What is it with me and my old school handwritings not getting to you? The first letter I'd sent to your Atlantic Records address and the rest to your Foundation...and now this. Suckola! I'm just hanging in my little cottage a friend renamed (without yet hearing your song) my singing/songwriting shanty :) I get to be here more the next two days as the 1 1/2 year old little man I'm babysitting is out of town - with his parents : ) I'm pretty excited to be here a bit more because I've been so busy with ditch cleaning and babysitting since I've returned from my trip...it'll be nice to chillax a bit and get some things done around my house :) I hope you're having a good night, Honey :) Please, smile for me? I am Montana :) We've been working on and off days on it for the last few weeks and today we opened the headgate and walked the water down the ditch. It's been a fascinating process and a great workout! :) Well, I finished today, but felt kinda yucky this afternoon so I'm really really sorry I missed my afternoon hellos :) I was singing your new song, though, while I was working on the ditch out in the beautiful sunny Montana day...did you hear me? :) Anyway, so I got over feeling yucky, worked on something for my hostess, and then Orange Feathers came by for a visit :) We haven't been able to hang out since before my trip. She had watched Sonya for me while I went to Saginaw and saw my family in Wisconsin, so we talked about that a lot and I played her your new song :) I really really really like your new song...and I absolutely loved you acoustically playing it with your voice leading the way...I'd jump another bus just to come listen to you do a whole concert like that! You have amazing vocal quality and control and are so instrumentally talented, too! And then your lyrics...your songwriting?!?! You amaze me...You inspire me :)
