Rock, u r great. From rap, to country, to rock, to classic rock, u r the one true artists that brings something true to the table. As a retired police detective, I would be proud to go into any pancake house with you. LOL
Thank you for this amazing song! You have no idea what it means to my family! Without knowing, you wrote the perfect dedication to my father's life. He just lost his long battle with cancer a few weeks ago. This song says everything about who he was and always will be to me. He was a Harley riding "free" spirit who loved his family and understood what it is to "live". We played this song at his funeral, and to us, this song will always be a tribute to him. My sisters and I can't wait to see you again when you come back to Chicago next month. Thank you again for giving us this gift to listen to and remind us that we were also "born free" and to live life the way he did! "FREE"!
I love you for loving our soldiers, my whole family, back to my grandfather- he was in WW! and a 'French-ie Canadian", that is what he did when he got here, married my grandmother and they were blessed till he passed, and she never dated anyone else- said she had had the best- why would she want to ruin that? My dad was in Vietnam- a Ret. Lt. Col.101st Airrborne- heli's is what he flew- my step dad was in the NAVY for Korea- and my father in law was in WW2 and saw action - during that war... My grandfather, my dad's dad- was a sheriff!!!!! SO I have long line of family commitment- to our USA- I thought I would share with YOU- so thank you again, hope 2 see U2 at Sleep Train Amphitheater- Wheatland, no mans land above SAC- anyways I am coming from the north if I don't get lost- will be first concert there in almost 10 years, just short 8 days- last time, saw a friend of yours- Johnny Mellencamp- It was one hellva show! He played over 2 hours no opening group-I will never forget the smell of the red rose petals that fell in my hair- the wind was slightly blowing- but it was warm- you will love it there- nice open friendly place... I hope I can say I saw U there- any disabled passes left? I sure need them- If I was a Thoroughbred I would of been sent to the 'glue' factory- 25 major and 15 or so minor surgeries to put me back together again- said I would never walk or have kids- I have two beautiful sons- just turned this last month 25 and 23- and I am still walking- feel like the 'scarecrow' in Wizard Of Oz- sometimes I feel like I should be 'stuffed' back together- but need easy access- and where I can sit-without it costing me a leg- HAHA- (at least I have a great sense of humor about it!) and if you saw me, you would never know-walking proud, but scars, LOTS 2 show...anyways just want to get my disabled tickets so I can make it there!
