My son bought me this painting at the arts fest in FW TX . It looks like me as a little girl and the backdrop is downtown Fort Worth. I love the innocence 0f the little girl against the harshness of the city and graffiti.

This is a huge painting I have hanging above my bed in my bedroom. I had it in the living room because of the vaulted ceilings but got a huge tapestry for Xmas and the only place with high enough ceilings was my room. If you look at the blue graffiti just behind the girls feet, it almost looks like it could say love or hate backwards and evil forwards. I guess it just depends on how you look at it. That's what I love about his work.

I used to paint like that and draw and do art shows but I don't have much time anymore or energy.

I know , right. It's a beautiful pic by an artist named Kevin Peterson. I love his work. You see a lot of graffiti and dependant upon how you look at it , it looks like it says different things.
