only God knows why.this song is the epitome of my oldest son RON ALLEN BIGLEY's character, and life. born 8/10/1984. killed in an explosion 9/16/2004. at the age of 20, he had more insight and wisdom than anyone i've EVER KNOWN. (disguised by his kiss my fucking ass attitude) when he died, i was barely capable of walking and talking. so all decisions were made by the "father" who abandoned him and his brothers years before. everything was done for a public show. he hasnt been back since..but the p.o.s. accidently got one thing right... ONLY GOD KNOWS WHY was played as we released the balloons at the cemetery. LONNNNNNNNNNNG EXTREMELY emotional stoy short, the legendary kid rock is an honorary family member....he goes with me EVERY TIME ....and he doesnt even know he keeps me sane(as i ever was) without a clue of what he's gotten himself into. ha. this year, i there is a small (but growing) group of true family and friends that journey to denison once a year, to celebrate as only ronnie could....and each year i walk away knowing he is STILL capable of making sure NO ONE walks away sad. EVER. the old stories i've heard a hundred times, are new again, and new memeories are made..nothing in this world is better than listening to how much of an impact he had on the lives of every one who knew him. this year starts a new traditon ...sheet music is ordered, keyboard has arrived. so i can play for rebel soul who HAD A cause....he was always looking out for him mom <3 ...when i had to sell my piano, he made it his mission to find a place for me to play, not because i was good, or even played in public, but because i love to play...i cant sing either, but that doesnt stop me. lol this year i sing, but i promise you ron, someday, somehow, you will have one last birthday present here on earth before God lets me hold you in my arms again.....kid rock WILL PLAY FOR YOU NO PUBLICITY NO LIGHTS NO STARSTRUCK WOMEN THROWING THEMSELVES AT HIM. you two have the same variety of rebel in your blood. i never made you a promise i couldnt keep i got this. (have faith)
