You'd think that after a sold-out weekend of shows Kid Rock would have had his fill of the DTE Energy Music Theatre.
Not when his buddy Zac Brown was in town.
The two, in fact, are such good pals -- and Rock has been such an ardent supporter of the Zac Brown Band, winner of this year's Grammy Award for Best New Artist -- that it was only a semi-seismic surprise, though a roof-raising reception from the near-sellout crowd, when he strolled on stage with the Georgia sextet Wednesday night (Aug. 18) at the DTE Energy Music Theatre for a rendition of the Marshall Tucker Band's "Can't You See," sporting a black T-shirt and Tigers cap and planting kisses on Brown's cheek before and after the song.
