Dear Kid Rock: I was sad to have missed your show in Denver; I had to hold the hand of a friend who’s in the throes of a five-year divorce. Unfortunately, he wasn’t interested in seeing the act as his idea of fantastic is mixing Ralph Lauren with Hugo Boss rather than mixing Kid Rock with the Fillmore. Myself, I now find Kid Rock a bit fabulous. I hate to say it, but I wasn’t always a fan. I know I’ll sound like a square Midwesterner, but I just don’t care for any work of art that hinges on sensational content/salacious lyric. But, damn, Kid Rock. I do admire your country/hillbilly/rock musicality and lyric, not to mention your charitable giving and sense of personal history. So rock on. And, in the spirit of inspiring more fantastic music with more than superficial content, I’d offer the words of the incomprable George Seferis’ Mythistorema as inspiration. All the best, Idaho P.s. Incidentally, I believe that I saw you earlier this year in Denver with entourage of ... decorators? Sadly, it now appears that -- not only are you a real, live person, -- but apparently my last serious relationship consists of eye contact with Kid Rock at the Restoration Hardware store in Cherry Creek Mall. So sad. Especially as it was not likely Kid Rock. Ha. Carry on, Kid Rocks. Carry on. Mythistorema ***** The angel — three years we waited for him, attention riveted, closely scanning the pines the shore the stars. One with the blade of the plough or the ship’s keel we were searching to find once more the first seed so that the age-old drama could begin again. We returned to our homes broken, limbs incapable, mouths cracked by the tastes of rust and brine. when we woke we traveled towards the north, strangers plunged into mist by the immaculate wings of swans that wounded us. On winter nights the strong wind from the east maddened us, in the summers we were lost in the agony of days that couldn’t die. We brought back these carved reliefs of a humble art.

I am so glad I got to go to the show, It was the best concert!!! Thank you to Kid Rock and the Band for coming to colorado and thank you to the staff ant the Fillmore, they were very gracious with me and helped me out to get good seating due to my wheelchair!!!

I saw you in Cheynne earlier this year and thought it just cant possiably get any better than this!!! WELL IT DID...... YOU FLIPPIN ROCKED LAST NIGHT!!!!! YOU GAVE US THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!! I CANT BELIEVE HOW LONG YOU PLAYED- AND I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT YOU LOOKED RIGHT AT ME AND SMILED, AS I WAS STARING AT YOU IN AWE FROM THE FRONT ROW!!!!!I ITS SO COOL THAT YOU WOULD PUT ON SUCH A KILLER SHOW AND DO IT ALL FOR CHARITY!!!!! I was there last night in Denver and the pictures are a great "peak" at how great the concert was. Its a small venue but Kid gave a large show...He is so talented, I just didn't want it to end...but do have front row tickets for Indio, CA...Thank you for being my "drug" of choice to escape my life for a few hours and rock out....see ya in a week.

Thank you for such an awesome show!!!!!!!!! Denver loved you and thank you for stating how much you love this wonderful country in your concerts. I was right in front in Denver and got some great pictures and I was there when you said hi to some of the crowd in front. Thank you for the eye contact when you greeted people. It was great!

I was lucky enough to go and it was incredible. Kid and the band are oustanding live and just work hard and have a good time. 2nd show and it gets better and better. LOVED it at a smaller venue, too.
