    Kid Rock has been ranked among the top 'Entertainment Stories of the Year' chosen by the 'Detroit Free Press' readers.

    Rock is ranked #2 for playing massive crowds in three downtown shows at Ford Field and Comerica Park. He is also listed at #9 for being honored by Detroit 'NAACP' dinner despite protests over use of Confederate flag.

People often tend to find something to bitch about . . . and sometimes displaying the confederate flag might mean something to one person and something else to another. I find it hard to find fault with what he's doing . . . He sings his heart out, gives back to so many, praises his community and the state where he's from and owns who he is . . . I find this admirable. So much respect for him . . . based on what I know . . . and maybe I don't know much, but from what I can tell, the man cares more than most . . . and for that he has earned my respect a long time ago. Congratulations to a man who has made it and deserves all the recognition and praise he is getting ~J

They clearly made an error! He is No. 1, they just didn't read the memo! The Chrysler ad was inspirational but not worthy of No. 1, especially after how the US auto industry abandoned the factory workers, the city and the state.

Didn't the Free Press get your story on your birthday bash which was the best to start off last year's Detroit entertainment!!...and what about your story of hosting the CMT awards again in 2011...and your story of performing in the NFL Season Opener Kick-Off Concert...and what about your story of performing for 5 U.S. Presidents in March 2011!!!...and being featured in Guy Fieri's cooking show bringing business to your hometown...but the best should have been the CARE Tour featuring Detroit businesses helping with your cause across the U.S....and defintely the charity contributions you made to Detroit families at Christmastime!! Guess big corporate wins out again in the end???....WELL, TO US YOU ARE #1 BOBBY!!
