    Kid Rock was a presenter at the 7th annual 2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South. The show, taped on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, airs on VH1 on Monday, June 7 at 9:00pm ET/PT.

    The show celebrated The Dirty South and the honorees who infused the southern story into hip hops global message. Jermaine Dupri, J Prince of Rap-A-Lot Records, The 2 Live Crew, Master P, Organized Noize, Luther Luke Campbell and Timbaland were recognized through performances in collaboration with some of todays hottest talent.

    2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors:The Dirty South is the first time that the show has honored a particular geographic region for its hip hop celebration. The Southern style of music and its artists, have been significant on the NYC-born genre and helped to expand its appeal worldwide. Always one of the premiere hip hop events of the year, in addition to featuring amazing performances, 2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South explored the rich hip hop history of the region through music, dance and language.

about the censorship Dear BOB....now that I have grandchildren if they are gonna learn swear I'd have to say i'd prefer he heard it from his relative so they could also be there to tell them that isn't language to use in a conversation if they want thier words to have meaning and for them to be taken seroiusly... Just a thought...and I have alot of wise thoughts --- PKL
