    Kid Rock "Born Free" Tour Is Coming!

    Kid Rock announces today the first 3 months of his “BORN FREE” tour that comes in support of his new album that hits stores today. The kickoff of the tour comes in the form of a 40th birthday party Kid Rock is throwing for himself with 60,000 of his closest friends, at Detroit’s Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions football team. The stadium will be renamed “40 Field” in honor of the occasion. The special show will include surprise guests and plenty of surprises. Tickets for the Detroit celebration will go on sale November 26th, tickets for the tour will go on sale December 3rd and 4th depending on the market through all the usual outlets.

    As usual Kid Rock will be backed by his own excellent Twisted Brown Trucker Band. Following the Detroit celebration the tour wraps around the country, hitting arenas throughout the country with this first leg of the tour ending March 12th in Memphis, TN. This is just the beginning of a busy touring year for Kid Rock, who plans to add more dates later in the year. The headlining tour will also feature very special guest Jamey Johnson, whose new album “The Guitar Song” has been drawing rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Kid, You HAVE TO come to Phoenix, AZ!!!!! I have seen you every year for the past 6 years and 2011 can't be the exception. You are hands down the best concert I have ever been to, and everyone I know, understand what I true Kid Rock fan I am. A few weeks ago I was listening to some of your older music and I was thinking about how I needed a good Kick Rock concert in my near future (even facebook'ed about it). Low and behold later that day I heard your new song and it got me thinking. If he has a new song out, that means he has a new CD out, which means he will have a new concert tour coming up! I was sooooooo excited. The final cherry on top was when I turned on the CMA's later that night and you were performing live!!!! Let’s put it this way, it was a goooooooooooood day!!!!! Can't wait....love the Kid! Hoping he comes to Texas but intending on seeing him in Louisiana and if he does come to Texas, will see him here too. Wish like hell he'd play at the Lonestar rally one year. A question was posed to the biker community as to which entertainer would make you not miss the Lonestar rally and everyone said Kid Rock! He's the best!

I am so excited to see that Memphis is on the touring schedule! I am also happy to learn that you are having Jamey Johnson as a special guest. I had tickets to see him & Hank Williams Jr. in DeSoto, MS but as soon as my husband & I got there, we got a phone call that our 16 year old daughter was involved in a car accident back home (over 2 hours away). We turned right around and headed back to Arkansas. Thank God..she was ok! Needless to say, I did miss the concert that I was anxiously wanting to see...but the funny thing about this story is that I jokingly told my daughter that she better be glad that she didn't cause me to miss Kid Rock! She rolled her eyes at me & told me that she would buy me tickets to my next concert of choice... Boy, am I ever going to luck out this time seeing "Kid Rock & Jamey Johnson" together! I am taking no chances on missing this... I am making my daughter go with me!! lol

Hi Kid, If there's one comment that you read, I hope it's this one. Your voice is Born Free is so soulful it reminds me of Bob Segar whom I'm a huge fan of! I'm a old soul, but young in age, and my life experiences has made me this way. I can tell you have grown spiritually and I'm so proud that I can feel the gift GOD that has shown up in your heart and into your song. You seem more sure in your faith and your greatfulness of your life and all that you have. Who knows how GOD will use you in the future, yes, little you, he needs vessels to use because he can't come down here himself and do the job he has to work through people. Stay humble and be obediant you have no idea where he can take you. I truely do not believe that he has forgotten where he comes from!! Detroit is lucky to have an artist who truely remembers where he came from. Its hard to be one person trying to please all his fans all over the world. In regards to his music, I think he sounds better now than he has ever before. He is a man with many talents just trying to express them all to the world!! He is a great artist/man and it must suck to have so many haters out there!! But as they say haters will keep someone going!! So rock on kid rock you are awesome and will always be....looking forward to seeing you in SC!!

AWESOME!!!! So now here is the official Application for any kind of work during your tour!!!! :) Please! I hope you can help me out. This is a very very huge favor I am asking for, and I hope you wont be angry about that. i was born in the USA but my parents moved back to germany when i was only 1 year old, ever since it´s just pulling me back!!! i guess that´s where i really belong! Now here I am, graduated, grown up and desperate to move back. But i haven´t got a clue, who to go to, where to go and especially where to work. there is only one big dream i am having. and i guess, right now it´s the perfect time for me. I always wanted to be a crewmember on a tour in the states. Is there any chance you would have a place for me in the crew? Ready to do just ANYTHING! Why don´t help me out and give me a start in the american way of life!!?! :) I know this is a weird way to ask for something like that, but i thought i´ll just give it a shot. I just think we need to put a halt to the scalpers ( literally making 500.00 plus for every front row seat).... And believe me even being in the KRC will not get you even the 1-2 row! Scalpers get what's available... I've always thought make those 1st couple rows charity auction... Or at least a portion... I know what you mean about a good seat! I had front row for the cruise and one concert... And I don't want to go nosebleeds ; ) I assume with the big venues their will be some cheaper prices... But NOT for his birthday ... Unless you are in military etc! God bless them.

I was hoping for front row tickets, it would be my first Kid Rock concert and I wonted to live every minute of it....but damn I did not realize they would be that much!!! Do you know if his fan club memebers get a cheaper price and if so how much??? Im going but I did not wont to have to sit on the last row :(!! I wonted to be up close and personal lol!!!

I Love me some KID ROCK!! And I was hoping to get front row tickets!! But with these prices there is no way!! SO SAD!!!:( Dont know if I wont to pay that much to even sit all the way in the back!!
