    Kid Rock and Ty Stone win at the 2012 'Detroit Music Awards'

    The 21st annual 'Detroit Music Awards' took place on Friday, April 27 at 'The Fillmore' in Detroit, MI. Kid Rock won an award for : "Outstanding Video/Major Budget (Over $10,000)" for his "Care" music video ft.T.I. and Angaleena Presley (of Pistol Annies)! Top Dog/Atlantic Records recording artist Ty Stone also won 3 awards for : "Outstanding Country Artist/Group," "Outstanding Country Songwriter," and "Outstanding Country Vocalist." Other winners at the event included Bob Seger, Eminem & Royce da 5'9", the Howling Diablos (winning 5 awards) and more! Big congratulations to all artists! Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waiting for a train and I 's feeling Nearly faded as my jeans. Bobby thumbed a diesel down, just before it rained, it rode us all the way to New Orleans. I pulled my harpoon and my dirty red bandana, I was playing soft while Bobby sang the blues, windshield wipers Slapping time, I held Bobby' hand in mine, we sang every song that driver knew. Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. Nothing don't mean nothing honey, if it ain't free, now now. And feeling good was easy Lord, when Bobby sang the blues. Congratulations, Kid! You ARE Outstanding! Thanks for this posting. I didn't know about this but will watch for it next year so you get nominated and hopefully win in a host of other the other categories, too! But thank you for humbly sharing the "stage" with such other great talents. Your hard work and dedication are recognized daily by us fans and I'm happy for you that your incredible video and song, which touch our hearts, have been acknowledged in this way.
