    Kid Rock and Taylor Swift Notify Radio Stations of 'CMA Award' Wins

    Kid Rock and Taylor Swift helped the CMA notify the CMA Broadcast Personality of the Year and CMA Radio Station of the Year winners Monday morning. Kid Rock called his hometown radio station, WYCD, to let Chuck Edwards and Linda Lee of “Edwards & Lee” know they won the CMA for Major Market Broadcast Personality of the Year. Taylor notified the station they also won Major Market Station of the Year.

    Kid Rock’s phone call came after Taylor personally notified several other winning radio stations and broadcast professionals across the country of their wins earlier in the morning. Taylor spread the news by calling Major, Large, Medium, and Small Market Broadcast Personality and Station of the Year winners from her Nashville home.

    The CMA Broadcast Personality of the Year and CMA Radio Station of the Year winners – all first time winners in their categories – will be recognized during the 45th Annual CMA Awards hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. The awards will air live on ABC on November 9 at 8/7 CT from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

What a nice thing those two did ... to take the time out of their busy schedules. Congrats to the broadcasters. And I have to mention again... Proud lil moment of our hometown sweetheart, Miss Taylor Swift, as she gives back to her hometown and purchases many upon many books for our kids here.. Music is Power !!

They must have really enjoyed that phone call---WYCD is a great country station here in Detroit. We are blessed to have sooooo many great stations here. WRIF and WCSX for my rock fix! DETROIT ROCK CITY BABY and now Country, too. I see WYCD's Dr. Don all the time at concerts. Nice guy, too.

A+ to them Both. It means something when the Artists give back to those in the business who also are a front for artists music. The radio station workers and public venues who support the artists seldom receive the Thanks they deserve. Kudos to the Kid and to Taylor!!!! Love em Both
