so I don't know if you read these but I have a funny "mom" story. I bought my mom the born free cd because and she really likes it. I shield her from some of your songs clearly but she can listen to this one beginning to end ;) so we're at the dinner table on Christmas day and softly in the background you can hear music. josh groban, andre boucheli, elvis then...kid rock. So there 6 of us and we're laughing about listening to you at Christmas dinner. talking about you and my mom says "I like that kid rock, he's her age and everything...he's perfect for her !!!(speaking of me) hahahahaha . don't know how often you hear a mom say you're perfect for her daughter but mine thinks so :))))).. and I agree . see ya in Detroit!!!

I am only 4 years behind her in age, and I am a Kid Rock fan, too! I bought the Born Free CD last week (love it!), and it is on my IPod (along with the "Good To Be Me" video!). You are never too old for Kid Rock.....you keep us young!!

I begin this post with a PRAYER, Please please Dear God let Kid Rock personally read this post, and also Dear God, Please do not let anyone who knows my son see it . My son moved from Detroit to Colorado Springs, CO 6 years ago and has'nt been home since and because of the loss of my job of 32 years I have not financially been able to go see him. So many missed Christmas's, Thanksgivings and not even his beautiful younger sisters graduation from U of M in May could bring him home for a visit because of the economic hardships. He posted on Facebook that for his 40th Birthday all he wanted was two tickets to be at your Birthday Bash at Ford Field, so I began entering every radio and tv contest I could find trying to win the tickets to surprise him and bring him home even if only for this short visit for the concert. I do believe his friends have made those tickets possible and he is now planning to surprise me. My wish, is for you to give my son, JOHN JARVIE a shout out and a WELCOME HOME during your concert. This would mean the world to me and give my son a memory to last him a lifetime since he is such a huge fan of yours and a truly awesome guy who is loved by so many. With all my heart I Thank you and God Bless both Home Town Boys, Kid Rock and John Jarvie who are Born Free, Born in Detroit and Coming Home!!
This is why i will drive 7 hours to see your show. Your just a good friend. You would meet all of us if you could. i know this to be true.
