people, you gotta know somethin about my ma. for years and years she drove total piles of crap for cars. i can remember a few from when i was a kid that she had to hot wire to get em to run right. my old man never bought her a damn thing. her late husband vern bought her that little car, and she loves it. its not american made, true, but it makes my ma happy and she feels safe and secure driving it, and its a good reminder of vern for her. so quit pickin on her for having something nice for once in her life.
Amen to that, lol.:) I have been caring for my grandmother since 2000 because she had dementia, which is now Alzheimers, but still not very severe. She turned 89 last August, and she loves your music! I can have one of the CD's in or be watching a performance on television and she is sitting there tapping her foot with a BIG smile on her face:). when watching a performance she will say "He is a nice looking man isn't he? And he sings real good." Her late husband was wonderful with instruments and played every day; of course not rock, but music. I have found that she is like me, she loves all music. But she also (like me) recognizes a awesome singer/performer when she hears or sees you:). Therefore, you are so correct, one is NEVER too old to Rock n Roll!:)
I am recently unemployed and had to move in with my kids. My CD player broke and I have NO MUSIC AT ALL. My family is from Detroit and we are all having problems. Kid Rock-------you make it better. Happy 40th !!! Wishing you lots of happiness and a stripper or two on a pole. Thanks for keeping it REAL. American Outlaw Lady in California LOVES you. Hey Bob, are you going to record your birthday bash concert at Ford Field? I bet those in attendance would jump at the chance to keep the memory alive forever by buying the cd and those who couldn't be there could get the chance to experience it as well. Just a thought...
