    Timothy B. Schmit is putting the finishing touches on "Expando," his first solo album in eight years. The singer/bassist told Billboard.com that the album, which he plans to release in the fall, is comprised of all new songs and features a guest list that includes the pairing of Dwight Yoakam and Kid Rock plus Graham Nash, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Keb' Mo', Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and others.

My mom has all The Eagles music and she told me all about them. She saw Roy Orbinson open up for them once too. She said Mr. Schmit sang I can't tell you why so beautifully live. She said she can't wait to hear Kid Rock with him and Mr. Yoakam, me too. My mom says this sounds like it is going to be an Awesome Album/CD. Kid Rock Rulez!!!

I've been an Eagles fan since High School...and that was a long, long time ago. Always thought Timothy Schmit could hit some crazy notes and sing some sweet, smooth harmonies. Look forward to the pairing. Could this be one more step towards Country? Rock on.
