  • Kid Rock put an exclamation point on the Downtown Hoedown Sunday night, popping up as a surprise guest during Miranda Lambert's headlining set and joining her trio Pistol Annies for a loose, relaxed version of his hit "Picture."

    Rock, dressed casually in a white V-neck T-shirt and a black fedora, was received warmly by the Hoedown crowd, which packed the Comerica Park parking lot for the fest's third and final day. Rock has popped up at several Hoedowns before, and his presence was a reminder that even if you move the Hoedown, the party remains largely the same

    You may not like him... You may not like his music... But, one thing is for sure, Kid Rock can put on a show! Without question, Kid Rock and his Twisted Brown Trucker band are one of the BEST live shows out there, PERIOD!

    For almost 2 hours, Kid Rock tore through new and old songs, reworking them so that even die hard fans didn't know what was coming up next!

    Peter Wolf was introduced as the "Mayor of Boston" and was BOOED until people realized that it wasn't Menino coming out onstage.

    When Kid Rock announced he’d be kicking off the month of June with a special show at the House of Blues in Boston, the tickets sold out faster than you could say Jim Beam.

    Trying to bottle the high energy of Rock and his band and confining it to the four walls of a club the size of the House of Blues is futile, so Kid Rock did what he does best – delivered an arena size rock show to the more intimate crowd.
