I can’t believe this song could effect me the way it did. I first heard it in my car yesterday, and I am a little ashamed to admit that this song made me cry………The song brought back so many memorys of my early 20’s and relized how great my life was back than. Not that it is not bad now, but forgot how much fun I had. Just would like to thank you for the long lost memorys. Wow just wanted to say thank you……………..

What a refreshing post from heights2. I love to hear (read) positive reactions to songs from Rock N Roll Jesus. There are songs from this album that will be played on bar and tavern juke boxes for years to come.
Make sure to get your shots before going abroad…oh, and hurry back!

Great song, great album, great video takes me back to a simple time.
I cannot wait until July when the America badass Cowboy and his Pose roll into Cowtown (Calgary) and show everyone there is a new sherriff in town.

Hmm…how about a little Jazz lesson for all the narrow minded folks. If you wonder why I would bring up Jazz…SLAP!…pay attention. “Educated on Jazz by my man Ahmet.”
There was a man named Joel Dorn (Google the name…learn something). He was very close with Les McCann and Eddie Harris (Google and increase your music knowledge depth). He wrote a piece for The Veldt in 1996. His closing remark made so much sense and it clearly…clearly explains why “All Summer Long” affects so many REAL people:
“…another great example of the feeling that’s been pouring out of Les’ trios for years…You can’t bring back the old days. But it’s nice when you have another example of why people miss them so much.”
Open up your minds and start to live.

The first time I heard this song I got chills. Living in Northern Michigan I had summers much like what you described. While I long for those days, I am happy with how my life has gone. But this song is just so perfect in describing how it was here. I see you are still making it up here to Boyne City again this year, and I’m going to try my Damnest to be there! Thanks so much for the trip down memory lane!
