DAMN!
I DIDN’T GET TO SEE THE INTERVIEW (are we addicted or what)?
SUGARMAMA-You were up at 3:50am? If I would have known, I would have had you give me a wake-up call. I looked over the comment page for Fox & Friends(yesterday)-and there weren’t hardly any questions for him. I didn’t interpret that negatively, I was hopeful that folks were depending on the interviewer to ask some pertinent questions…
I had a couple but they had nothing to do with PA, TL, or WHs (I’m so sick of it-I’m not writing out the names) as we’ve had enough already-we know, we get it, get over it. What were the “crazy questions” and I’m wondering where they came from?…unless it was stuff so silly even to publish on their website. Were they doing that “blogging in real time” thing? Was it mentioned if the video clip will be on the Fox & Friends website or our favorite website later today? It’s not out there yet…Dang it…I’m Jonesin’ here-I need some new footage…
These were some questions that I put on Fox & Friends (listed below). Perhaps if there are others who are true fans and have real questions maybe someone…could answer them for us…if they’re so inclined? ;o)
1.) How in thee hell are you and the TBT keeping up the pace with this touring schedule? It is crazy!
2.) How do you and Bobby Jr. deal with the extensive touring schedule? (That may be too personal-I’m not sure I could ever be a cut-throat-talk-show-host).
3.) How will you be spending Spring Break? (Hmm, maybe borderline personal as well-I don’t think I’m nosey enough for this kind of work).
4.) Can we get some clarification on the Germany dates? Are you doing both Rock im Park (Rock in the Park) and Rock am Ring (Rock in the Ring) or are you doing the “Park” twice? Website dates are unclear.
5.) You in 2006 and Run DMC in 2001 did the Montreux Jazz Festival. Do you have plans to do that together this July ‘08 since you’re runnin’ with DMC (tongue in cheek) this year? Would that be hard for you to do considering all the memories you have regarding that event…both good and bad?
That’s all I got…for now…
Oh yes, see you at The Wharf!

If you’re not getting what you need…be resourceful and go elsewhere.

That last comment was bitchy wasn’t it? Oh, I wrote that…(little intoxicated I think that night).
Who IS that guy? Oops, didn’t spell love the cool way either. Just showing support. Us “everyday people” love you too.
AND I am everyday people and so on and so on and scooby dooby…You’ll have to excuse me-I just had a week off from work.
Hmm, that was a good night. The beach, Bud Light and Rock ‘n Roll Jesus screamin’ in my ear…Hee hee (innuendo).
So…Honey, I’m home!
Spent a week in Gulf Shores. The Amphitheatre at The Wharf looks cool. I’m driving back for the May 2 show…my Mom is going! I was…you know… a little concerned at first…I was an only child…they(my parents) were so strict. I was in college before I ever went to a concert. It was INXS (Michael was there) at Pine Knob. Have you ever played the Knob? Is that place even open? I haven’t been back to Michigan in awhile.
But, I digress, my Mom’s coming. You got her attention with “Picture” (of course) and she watched you sing “Feel Like Makin’ Love” (which creeps me out-sorry it’s my mother-man) on TV some time ago. I was concerned about the “F” bombs and the “P” bombs and what have you- I didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable because this show will not be sponsored by Wal-Mart, ya know? Bleep, bleep, Radio Edit, etc., NOT gonna happen. SO, I know…I write a lot… Anyway, while I was down visiting she asked if I had ever seen “The Big Lebowski” with Jeff Bridges. I hadn’t…she owns a copy(?) we watch it and dude, she’s crackin’ up through the whole thing. Needless to say, I’m no longer concerned about her attendance.
See you there.
XO
One more thing…
That venue would very much appreciate a live version of “New Orleans.”
That is a great song.
