I'm a 45 year-old diehard rock fan. I am lucky and live in beautiful Northern California. We are basically "Rednecks" in that we love the great outdoors, from enjoying the scenic Sacramento River, while catching trophy salmon, steelhead, trout, or the occasional buzz, or maybe takin a drive up in the hills, spotting wildlife. My friends are family and I am loyal to the end. After losing my best friend of 24 yrs, Carrie, life kinda lost its glow. I miss her everyday. Being around her brought out the best in me, & most often the laughter out of me. But listening to Kid's recent music & learning of his org, CARE, reminded me that there are bad & good things in the world, but all we can do is keep on keepin on & always reach out & help whenever you can! It's fun to see the expression, or hear the disbelief from someone you help, for no other reason other than because you can. Most people don't know what to do with the kindness of a stranger. All the more reason to do it, don' you think?
