I have to tell you, tho...
I have to tell you, tho... you have to try and do the cruise at least once... it is the coolest thing you will ever do in your life. Gene and I are both firm on not going any longer.. not because we don't wanna.. but just because of what I mentioned below. My poor guy falls asleep to watching HGTV every night.. wishes he could have a house with a big dog. It breaks my heart that I can't give that to him. Yet.. he never says no to a Kid Rock show or cruise..lol I'd say we are almost there.. maybe a few more years of saving and paying down some debt and stop the going and going :)

Awesome !!! So glad to hear you guys got tickets :) There's not much we can do the rest of the year.. couple shows around our home. We decided this year that this was gonna be our last Kid Rock cruise. We have gone 4 times in a row.. and honestly, don't have no business going that many times with the funds we have... it is time for us to pay down our debt slowly, save, go to school, and create some kind of a future or nest egg for ourselves. Turning 40 in two years.. have no health insurance, no life insurance, we rent, and have put a ton of money on going places and seeing shows rather than looking out for what may be important in the next 20 years. Seeing my mom and dad suffer in their 60's in a city home they have been paying for all their life yet.. it's probably only worth 20 grand because it's on it's last thread... and here we are.. don't even have that for ourselves because we have been renting all this time. Kinda made some bad decisions.. but I don't regret them because we both have enjoyed just going. I'd like to say that perhaps because we never had kids to ground us... we were always free flowing and spur of the moment on everything. Ah... anyway... I'm babbling away..lol. I'd say tho.. if we don't go on the cruise anymore... at least there will be some times to come to get to shows here and there for the next tour.. and perhaps back to Detroit one of these days. Perhaps things will come sooner.. but I gotta start getting serious about school now... one class per semester is gonna take me forever... yet, I read in the paper how tons of college grads are working minimum wage jobs... will it ever pick up... and I feel so bad for parents like yourself who have to worry are their kids going to be okay as we age. I know there will be one day that we will get the chance to meet up :)

Sorry it took me so long to write back..things crazy around here. I wish Spring would get here--it snowed Saturday! I'm counting down the days now when the kids will be out of school--son is going to be 15 in May, and daughter 14.
I'm not going to the Weds. DTE show :( . I hope we can still meet you and Margo for lunch or something, tho. We'd all like to. I know it will be a hectic day, but I'd really like to say hello and give you a hug.

Scranton, PA and Camden, NJ which is just over the bridge from Philly. Also would like to go to Pittsburgh which is a way longer drive but stopping at our friend's house a day before the show and having a throw down with a few other friends from around the way... bonfires, bbq, and good times with great ppl. What's not to love :) How about you... anything round your area? Are you near the Texas show?

I got home around 4 and I am really tired and yeah so it's 3 lymph nodes 2 in the right and 1 in the left but only those-Thank God so waiting on other test results and moving forward, it's going to be alright :) your good wishes and hugs helped, thank you so much!<3- I'm having really a night with my son and not the best of one's another round we go:( and now I have to get firewood in the house, etc.. iron clothes as my son has a forensics meet tomorrow and I work and we're down to using just the bronco right now cause of weather-How's your night going? LOL-well sounds like you will have a new husband then for the cruise-LOL-you guys are gonna have so much fun-still remember though a spray tan is not real so be careful you guys don't get sun stroked and burnt. I'll do spray tans this summer-no more tanning beds for me anymore and right now I'd look weird with a tan being it's still all snow outside-LOL going to town today getting my nails done and pedicure and buying some new jeans-finally-yay!!! Hey how did your hair turn out this go around-good I hope :D Once I get all my results in I'm gonna know what's up and if it goes the way I think no worries so I'm gonna add blonde back in my hair-I think under the crown so like underneath the red and highlights try that for a bit and then decide if I go blonde or stay red for the summer. Can't wait for test results but it I think it's all gonna be alright-thank God!!! I want to get back to gym so bad!!! haha Chris said never again. we had a good laugh, he came outta the spray booth & said I don't think I put the goggles over my eyes, he had the goggles on his forehead! He said he rubbed any excess tanner over his forehead, but we were waiting for him to have 2 white spots on his forehead to appear. It didn't damn it! That would've been fuckin' hilarious!

School got cancelled for the boys, but the youngest woke up at regular time, sigh...I told him to let me sleep in for another hour, in the meantime he's loudly fixing himself a bowl of cereal in the kitchen...wake up to Frosted Flake cereal & spilled milk on the kitchen counter! Chris got his car stuck at the end of our driveway, he had to stop to take the trash out & got stuck. Had to walk through the snow up our 500 ft driveway & get my truck to drive to work, what a way to start the day!

Yeah I friggin wore my snowboots and carharts, had water, etc in case of emergency-just like when I had no car I friggin rode my kids bike to work-I always show up unless I am truly sick like at Christmas time and that was horrible-My kid doesn't have school today so we're getting chores done and wearing our carharts and heading into town-I'm excited I'm having my son open up his own checking account, card, etc.. so now he can pay his bills and learn when my tax return comes in he'll start his own savings-he doesn't know what I have set up for him later in life, like money and me giving some back. He too had to do his taxes first time as well so now he's learning that-YAY!!! On a side note I'm back to doctors-wish me luck!!! They sent me results in written form and I got to go back and check on the lymph nodes-my son is going with me-Gosh I want facebook back so we can talk!!!! End of March!!! How's your world treating you? Thank God you had your winter gear with ya when you got stuck. That happened to me once, got stuck in a drift in my 4x4 truck on our dirt road, didn't have snow gear though. I could see my house, but was far to walk in knee high drifts, I rocked it back & forth for a while & finally got out. I hate winter, I'm so ready for some warm temps...I'm excited about the trip & a nervous wreck at the same time. I'm sad about missing the boys already...I fuckin lost it last week, bawling crying, it was bad! I hate flying so I'm feeling anxious if I'm doing the right thing, it's risky putting myself & my husband on the same plane. I know if we drove to FL. we'd have a better chance of getting into a car accident, than a plane crash, but that's how I roll...one big worry wart!

Thank God you had your winter gear with ya when you got stuck. That happened to me once, got stuck in a drift in my 4x4 truck on our dirt road, didn't have snow gear though. I could see my house, but was far to walk in knee high drifts, I rocked it back & forth for a while & finally got out. I hate winter, I'm so ready for some warm temps...I'm excited about the trip & a nervous wreck at the same time. I'm sad about missing the boys already...I fuckin lost it last week, bawling crying, it was bad! I hate flying so I'm feeling anxious if I'm doing the right thing, it's risky putting myself & my husband on the same plane. I know if we drove to FL. we'd have a better chance of getting into a car accident, than a plane crash, but that's how I roll...one big worry wart!
