My dream came true on 5-12-12
My dream came true on 5-12-12 when I got to meet "Bobby" in person at the Filmore in Detroit, after his concert at the Fox with the DSO. Cost me $1500.00 but it was the only way I knew to actually get close enough to see those beautiful blue eyes and touch that Rockin body of his! Now I can scratch off #1 on my "bucket list" It as a piece of Heaven...a dream come true...thanks to friend Hershall for getting me close enough! Back to Texas now...living in my RV...scraping funds together for the August concert in Detroit. Hope I can do it! LOL!I'm so stuck on this dude it's insane!
Just watched the CMT music awards from 6/8/11. Missed it that night. Mom and I were going to watch it together-instead I was saying the Rosary at her Wake at 7 pm. It was a happy/sad moment. She was a great person. Loved to have fun. We planned to go to Milwaukee on July 3rd to see Kid Rock in concert. She was excited to go. Her friends were all amazed that she liked Kid Rock, after all, she was 83. I'm glad he made a country album so Mom had an opportunity to hear him. I will miss my friend, my mentor, my Mother...She went too fast. Rest in Peace Mama...you got a V.I.P. to see Jesus and His Band Of Angels....enjoy, and "I'll see you later...save me a seat!"
