I had fun, too and will lighten up more when I don't have to drive anywhere! Been in carpool all day and am driving back to my son's school again tonight (thrilled, though, since he's being inducted in the National Honor Society). Anyway, coming home, putting my hair up and then hitting that Total Gym. BTW- you were beautiful in your daughter's communion picture but you look so great now, too, because you are happy with yourself. I will get there, too. Just give me a little time. And, I threw those darn cakes away. LOL

Thanks mrs. cedars. We had a good trip home. no problems. Hope you enjoyed your stay at the bed and breakfast. Clarkston is a great town (1st time for me). kind of reminded me of walking through grand haven with all the little ma and pa stores. Hope you had a safe ride home.

Kid came out and did "Cowboy" at the end. Jason had just finished Bon Jovi's "Dear or Alive" and I told my daughter if Kid is coming out, it'll be now. Jason said he wanted to do his next song to honor a Detroit native and apologized if he didn't do it justice. So, he began to sing it and out came BOB. The place went nuts! Kid wore a brown sweater with a brown down vest and jeans. Loved it all. What a way to close a show! My daughter and I had a great time. Seats were good. Sat directly in the center, row V and the six people sitting in front of us were all ejected for weed. They were SO obvious! Anyway, all the seats are great at The Knob. Kid just ate up the attention. He is so loved by Michigan, as you know. Again, great time. Ate at Toby Keith's bar before the show.

She just asked the boy to her homecoming and she doesn't drive yet. I'm hoping she can get a ride with a group but she's new to the school. I'll figure out something. I picked the date like what, 6 weeks ago? My luck. I will get more info on the time of the dance and dinner soon. I'll let you know.

Ha ha ha, I checked his dates before I suggested Sept. 23. I doubt he'll show up but it'll be fun to all meet. I'm running two car pools and have the afternoon shift (22 miles to one school, then 9 from there and back home). I figure I can make Clarkston by 6 if traffic isn't too bad.

Me again. I noticed you have probably already left for a vacation. I'm still gonna try and get a cabin. I'll post here if I got one or not on the 20th. If I don't get one, I'm going to put myself on the waiting list. I hope I get a room and you can join me if you still want to go. Somehow, it should work out, I hope.

I don't know if you saw my comment but I'm still trying to find someone to go on the cruise with me. I didn't do presale. I called cuz I was going to just try and get a room and they said to call on July 20th. Wanna go? Think about it. Let me know either way. I'm a normal, mom of three. I'm easy to get along with and not a huge drinker but I know how to still have fun. Love Kid's music and would hate to miss out on the cruise.

no im sitting this one out.i was hoping for a pine knob show. going downtown has always been a major hassle, and by the looks of the way presale ticket sales are going, its just adding to that hassle. i dont know whos running things on this site, but kid neds to do some major overhauling.
