The insurance company is holding money and dragging their feet with every decision! They haven't even paid our rent money for feb., march, and now April. Just frustrating. It will be a year the end of may! Other than that we are all good...my daughter has a new job and a new roomie, that's a good thing. Can't wait for Michigan to warm up! How are you?

Dana is doing really good right now. We are flying down sat. the 21st. to enjoy florida for a few days. Got a rental car and going to see a friend in ft. meyers for 1 day. Then going to hang out at the beaches or check out some other things to do. We got a economy hotel in miami for 4 days.

That is so nice of you to think of me:) Nothing here in Manchester just big ol' fat rain, no hail. My sister lives in Dexter off of N. Territorial Rd. & Huron River Dr. where the tornado was...thankfully no damage to her house, she just lost power & was pretty scary. She's having problems now trying to get through the roads trying get to a gas station for their generator, lots of downed trees & power lines. Hope you're ok where you're at?

Hey JB, Dana is doing a little better. Went to the doctor today for her 1st check-up after surgery. They said everything looks good. She is starting to get around a little more now. ( bathroom, kitchen ect.). Doctor says 6-8 months before the bone graphs are fully healed. Long road ahead but will take it day by day. Still not sure about the boat. She says there is NO way she will miss it.

Just wanted to let you know Dana made it through surgery o.k.
Doctor says soon she can start sitting up. But for the next 3 months she can only sit for 30 min a day. Then she has to lay back down. Had some problems with the nurse on night shift last night. When the surgeon came in this morning he was pissed. The surgeon and I had removed from her care. She is doing better now. She might be able to come home at the first of the week.
