WOW -- That is so Awesome, what a story to tell!!! Someone had extra tickets to the show in Malibu; and, I said the Aussie that has flown half way around the world and the West coast of the US, deserves the extra tickets. But, I see you made out even better!! NICE!! So, I guess I know who I need to hang out with for the Kid Rock concert Down Under!!! !!! ; }~ My new best friend Hayden C!! Glad you had a successful trip and got to experience the one and only Kid Rock and the good old U. S. of A.!!!
I went from zero to 2!! Headed out tomorrow to Palm Springs and Malibu!! Yee Haw!
So?!! I'm gonna need a report on how the Aussie's first Kid Rock concert was? And, you get to enjoy another one this week too, lucky bastard!!
LOL -- Yeah, winter in the Rockies -- Yikes!! But, it looks like you got out of Southern California just in time since some violent storms have been hitting the area -- Hurricane force winds taking down trees that are 100 years old!!
I just checked for you and the Weather Channel says it will be "Sunny" ; ) at 5° C in the day and -.38° C at night -- uh oh. Just keep drinking, that will keep you a little warm, maybe. ; )
OMG it's a Kid Rock kind of day for a certain Aussie!! How very exciting!!
Yeah, ya never know, a miracle just may happen!! I'll keep my fingers crosses for you.
That's great that you'll get to see some of your favorite bands while in L.A. The Colorado Rockies are AWEsome!! I haven't been to that part of Washington, prairielands I believe. And, SF is one of the coolest cities on the planet!! You're getting a good mix of the western part of America. I,m sure your Kid Rock inspired vacation will be a total BLAST. So happy and excited for you!!
And, LONG LIVE KID ROCK!!! ; )~
I'm very lucky!! I've given the man himself about 5 cheek kisses and counting!!! ; )~
At the very last minute (like 1:00am on Jan 15th) I decided to catch a plane to Detroit for his 40th Birthday Bash in Detroit -- spectacular show!! 60,000 of his closest friends! ; ) He played for 3 HOURS. Then I saw him the next month in Dallas, Texas on the Thursday before the Super Bowl at the VH-1 Pepsi Fan Jam, then on the Cruise (BEST PARTY EVER!!) and finally in August in about 110 degree weather!! If I'm lucky I may get to see him in Indio (Palm Springs, California) at the beginning of December. It would be about a 4.5 hour drive -- but he and TBT are worth it!!
Have you been to the U.S. before? I wanted to go to Australia so bad right out of high school (a mere 28 years ago -- yikes) but it hasn't happened yet, hopefully in the near future!!
You will be blown away, he never disappoints. I like to read the MANY comments on Twitter that say, "that Kid Rock concert was the best concert I've ever been too!"
I'm sooo excited for you!! If you think you worship him now, wait til after you experience his live performances -- he can't be topped in my book!! Welcome to America!! I can't wait until I get to visit your cool country!!
