Life's about WHO and HOW ya get "scatter'd, smother'd & cover'd" with. I am WORKING ON BEING A 3 time SURVIVOR of Breast Cancer/Ovarian Cancer and have come to realize that I'm livin' my life, from now on, with NO REGRETS and an "I don't care" attitude about what people think I'm supposed to be doing. Not gonna give a shit about how "crazy" I look driving down the road with the MUSIC UP LOUD. If I wanna jam on a Sunday morning driving past the town Church, then by gosh, I HOPE they like my music choices.

Do you HAVE TO ASK????? Start with the obvious. Kid Rock & the Twisted Brown Trucker Band. Then there's gotta be some "old school" Nugent, Trower, Deep Purple, ALL the classic R~n~R bands from the 70's,80's . Anything with a MAAAAAD guitar hittin' some licks. And to "lighten" my moods some Santana, Jonny Lang or just some good ole Blues band's.

That is awesome you haven't missed most of his shows within 500 miles.You're so right :) So many of us have been through difficult times and situations in our lives and we can relate through alot of his lyrics. Just goes to show you how much many of us are alike, he can express it better than some of us :) As for myself I have only been to 1 of his concerts which was last year in Omaha, Nebraska, in July, on one of the hottest days of the season. I happen to had 3 days off that week and decided since I haven't been able to enjoy much and been wanting to see him, I learned at short notice he was going to be only less than 200 miles away, I thought yes! luckily got a ticket online at the last minute and went. I had never been to a concert by myself and usually when you go with others anywhere it makes it all the more fun. But I have to admit I never had such an awesome time in all my life by myself. His performance was the best I had ever seen. His talent and mannerism just blows me away ! I like real and those who are just themselves and he is. Hang in there Denise ! You sound like you have a strong will and I'll keep you in my prayers. Think positive, keep faith and it will all work out ! Yes it would be awesome we meet up one day at one of his shows. Definately celebrate life and love with Kid Rock :) Take good care and may the good Lord God Bless you !!!
Denise, I read about your cancer. Sorry to hear. Thought it was awesome you get that sense of healing from Kid Rock's music too. It really does pick a person up and helps ya through :)

Believe it or not---when i did hair for so many years in Detroit---I'd once in a while run into a person here and there that would tell me that when Bob Seger was still relatively un-known---and playing small places (like the high school gyms)--they wouldn't go see him play---because they thought he couldn't sing. WTF????? ~lol--it took EVERYTHING I HAD within me not to jack up their hair on purpose for saying that---DOUCHEBAGS!!!!!!!! Lol

Denise I was just wounding if last night show was a full set , Glad you had a good time i a traveling to silver spring next week
Were doing the Silver Springs show, Can not wait for it! We traveled to Huntington Wv. to see Kid rock, then seen him in Virginia at jiffy lube live, VIP 1st row center row, Best birthday gift ever! Now doing the Silver Springs show in November, (small venue) Should be a blast! But most of all ready for the cruise! Hell ya, Hey is cowboys still open in Atlanta? Loved that place for sure.

I've never been to Centerstage----our little club band played the Vinyl for "Undercovers with Alli" before----and ironically enough--a couple weeks ago---the Centerstage people called all over Atlanta looking for Eric's (he's the band leader) phone number to play Centerstage----but our drummer had just taken an over the road truck driving job------turns out he was home for the weekend and could've done the show after all----but they had already found another band to fill the time slot-----long ramble later--lol----we could've played the same stage as KrTbt-----i can't even believe that!!!!!! Let's hook up downtown before the show----i am planning on getting over there early and maybe getting something to eat and getting in line----
Well--NO MORE Sunday weddings with booze in Solo cups during the Ceremony---lmao----i am hung-over as hell!!!!!!!!! ~Lol

i am just wondering if the whole venue is going to be GA that night---because they usually have a pit and then seating around it---and the seats are permanent
:-) When it snows here---it's WAY different then back home---i didn't see a single snow-plow until 4 days in ~back in January---so we were stuck in the house for 4 days--lol
All was great until we ran out of beer and cigs!! I was seriously considering walking the mile and a half to the store--lol---
Plus we usually get ice here---you can't drive on that---i don't care who you are!!!!!!! Lol :-)

i LOVE Atlanta :-) i was born and raised in Detroit---moved South 6 years ago--at 35 years old---the Atl is VERY similiar to Detroit :-)
