Kid Rock, John Mellencamp, Melissa Etheridge, Bryan Adams, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, REBA, AC/DC, Sheryl Crowe,Adam Lambert, Train and PINK- Gretchen Wilson, and dear sweet Taylor Swift! Many more- Johnny Lang just played here in Redding, so did Bryan Adams, paid for my ticket, was not cheap- but had pneumonia/bronchitis- and was not able to go. Years ago I knew Huey Lewis when he was with the 'American Express', and Pablo Cruise, Eldon Bishop- and many more- met the San Diego Chargers, Dan Fouts sat next to me at airport Hilton in SF, prior to game with 49'ers- Joe Montana days, met him also, and Charleton Heston. Famous peopoe are not any different than myself- except doing what they love and were good at it! Also, had dinner with Jack LaLane- my mother thought I was 'star crossed' as to running into celebrities. I just think it was a time of being in the right place at the right time. I wish I could show U around Redding. Also Merle Haggard has a place about 15 miles east from me, and plays here at the Cascade Theater also. Not big, but refurbished old time theater- also met Dicky Betts Band, tho they partied way too hard for me. Enough said. If you get a chance msg mre at my e-mail, or facebook, Dana Z. John Mellencamp, Aug.3,2001- I even requested on his fan site a song that he usually did not put on his song list-' WHAT IF I CAME KNOCKING', since my baby sister(4 1/2 yrs younger) had died after a 9 month battle with Acute Myleginous Cancer- very rare, she was 38 when diagnoised- and passed on family members birthday, also the concert was on my mother who was killed by a 19 yr old drunk driver in June of 79, 2 weeks after I turned 21. She was 'half' of me- we were so close, I had never been to a funeral until my mothers. I told John this, and they passed it on- also I had lost 5 best friends in 1 year and a half prior to my sisters death. Her husband grew up near John, and loved his music too- so I drove to Marysville Ampitheatre about 4 1/2 hrs from here- 2 lane road not an interstate. It is north of Sac, but east of Redding- would love to see Bob R. in concert, if there is will- there will be a way. No others due to health issues I had 25 surgeries- but am walking/ getting around fine. Let me know if you play at Arco Arena in Sacramento, or Sleep Train ( place I went) new name, or come to Redding!- 2 hrs from SAC airport- 70 mph straight up north on I-5 and u r here :) lots to do up here.
