Blue, I took the picture of my son and Kid Rock down for safety reasons cause he's still just a kid/teenager and we're going to an upcoming show on new tour so I really do not want to put a picture of him up in here right now (stranger danger) people can be crazy-you know-but when she gets it I'll let you know so you can see from her okay. :)

Hey.. can't help but to think of the 2004 Jones Beach concert lately..lol. First time I met you in person... you said.. look for the KRAA T-shirt flag... and sure enough. From that moment on... our friends were pouring shot after shot of Jager Miester.. and I remember us all drunk stumbling into the venue just in time for the show..lol Ah.. the great times. Good stuff, Great memories !! Wish I could rewind the clock about a decade and do it all again. Sorry I still didn't send you some of the essays I've been doing. I think I'll have a ton of time after December when school is out.

And everyone was pissed that nite after Jones, Bob, the fans distraught 'cause no "Baw" encore. I kept saying, "that is one of the best live bands I have ever seen....." The course is going great, thanks :) Midterm grades came out and I got a P for passing. Lots of Journal writing.. well one a week actually. I tend to write a lot about personal experiences which is what she wants anyway. When ya make it your life to follow a rock n roll band around for 13 years... there's a lot to reflect on ; ) Last week's topic was what I would like to discover.. well I went a lil off topic.. rather then what I want to discover.. I talked about what I had already experienced and discovered as far as traveling to different places. This week's topic is What's the best thing that I have ever done...lol and it's been a toss up. Clearly the best thing I have ever done was the gift from Bob and being flown out, ect, ect; however, when the teacher explained further.. she wants something that I have done for myself or someone else..like save a life, or make a critical decision. So, it's a toss up on the Kid Rock thing or making the decision of going back to college. I do believe the right writing choice would be about the going back to college bit, but damn the Kid Rock thing would make a good read for the teacher...lol What do you think?
To me, the two are totally interconnect, so write about both. It's the experiences you treasured on the road with others that gave you the insight and support to make the college choice, right?

lol... yes that was funny. The 2nd interview was tough... yet the guy was funny.. reminded me of Bernie Mac. I think he could sense that I was dissatisfied with the pay according to the detail of responsibilities of the position... on-call every other week at nights, plus every third weekend. And their big demand is that there's no if's, and's, or but's about it... if a companion calls off.. I am expected to find someone to cover at all costs. To me it's like a persuasive position... kinda like sales.. and I'm not a saleslady in the least bit.. never was.. never will be. So, when I asked about a 90 day pay increase.. I sense he was offended that I asked. The other part... no medical coverage for full-time employees. Who doesn't have medical coverage with at least the employee paying a nice percentage nowadays besides minimum wage jobs. So, really the feeling is mutual. The big one is today... Medical Billing position. It's imperative that I do not stumble for this one. And so I'm stressed, still up thinking about it... good thing it's at 2pm today.. then gotta go in and work third shift tonight. Oh.. and taking the big 5 hour college placement test on Thursday. My current boss says... girl, if you really wanna do the college thing... your time is now. He's a good friend... he knows I'm job searching, the fire's burning. I keep an open communications with him about everything.. because he appreciates that, and I appreciate that just as much. Only wish every boss was like him. Thanks for asking Blue. Keep ur fingers crossed for me.
Bex, this is the type of company I can see you running some day for yourself, so think it's a great opportunity to work for them and learn from the mistakes of others. It's a risky position too, you have to make sure you screen those aides so they don't take advantage of the folks they care for or injure them. The down side of the job is that every damn thing is urgent, so it will be tough to plan for Kid Rock events. No such thing as absolute vacation no call days. And if you are uneasy about the pay scale now, how will you feel when you are busting your butt this winter with no raise in sight?
The second one sounds sweet for now....gives you all the full time day benes, A/C, etc. Provides health insurance. Just wonder how flex they will be for school or days off to tour with TBT.
The "college thing" is imperative, I will hound your butt until my dying day....LOL, and I mean it. You are enormously talented and resourceful and will take to it like ducks on water. Good luck on the exam, saw you mentioned you were using online math sites to study up. Smart move.
Cannot complain about the lack of humidy up here, for sure. Don't mind the higher temps without it, so it's kind of like a "surprise vacation," lol. Normally stuck inside with the A/C. Don't know how you folks cope with the hotter weather down South.
