Born and raised in Scarborough, just east if Toronto, I wrote this poem for Mr. Rock and if goes like this...They tell me that the end is commin............But the name is Kid Rock and I ain't running. Im comming through ont he avenue, comming hard on the Detroit boulivard, sippin on Jim Beam in the backyard. I take care of my neighbour before the rest of the world ask me for a favour. Im proud of where I come from and if you did't know just listen to my song, Im not a terrorist, I'm the bamb! and it won't be long wheather I'm right or wrong. People dying, people crying, some have ways and means some have hopes and Jim Beam. We've had some major earthquakes, building a pad in the make, God protect the great lakes. If Detroit is standing by my side and this is my hometown, I won't be hog-tied,go cock-eyed or become freeze-dried....Lighting and thunder, brimstone and fire, Cloud burst, River floods, sipping on suds, not worrying about the scuds. The name is Kid Rock and Im a night hawk, I ain't the warlock, just singing on the board walk......Tick Tock
