I received a couple pm's from Mz J which she stated "her computer is dying and any last words?" and I haven't been on for a bit, and I believe Mz J is on the West Coast, Not sure if she lives in any of the effected areas of the weather they are having. If any one knows, I"d appreciate that. She seems like a very nice and funny person and hope she is OK.

I have sold a couple things on Ebay(some of my kid's things) in the past with the help of my sister, but that was years ago and they got some really good money, I used her account, Now I have my own and I would browse some of the things others were selling like mine and I am seeing some of the $$$ they are getting. I say YEAH! So yesterday I went an got a memory card for my camera. Have no idea what happened to that. LOL been since last summer since I had it. I need to read about selling on there, but I learned REALLY fast about buying, definitely watch!!! Thank God they weren't major items, Yet I overpayed for a couple things 1, for need, 2 it was fun bidding, Yet I got it in check now. I do I really do. LMAO
So I believe set up a nice display, take different angles of the item or items, write up something interesting truthful(note if any flaws) and informative, (simple and sweet) and then that's as far as the thought went. I just am not sure how long I want the listing to be for... and how fast people actually pay.I don't wanna be running and sending stuff out everyday. I have other obligations. I mean I read some of the people's pages on items and they lots and lots of stuff to say all about the process, like covering their ass, Does that make sense?
I have alot of packaging stuff, Damn I had to organize all that cuz it was insane, and I don't like clutter, Yeah I am a firm beliver in recycling. I am going to start with a couple small ticket items, see how that goes. So now Connie Jo advice please, Like length of time I should show. I am not available beginning of the week for questions or anything if ebayers want a quick response. Nights I can be available. What about insurance and shipping fees, some items I am thinking about selling are small, then some will be more fragile. I am not willing to lose in shipping I really need advice there.and any other advice.

I've been selling and buying on Ebay for a few years now. I use to be on one of their Ebay committee advice boards, but they've changed so much since then, that I don't get involved behind the scenes any longer. Much of their changes haven't been for the better, but oh well...it is what it is.
If you need any help with Ebay though, I'll be happy to help any way I can. I can tell you that if you sell, it's best to end your listings on Sunday evening...no later than 10 PM. Most Ebay customers are more active on weekends with searching for items to buy, and buying...you'll bring top dollar when auctions end on Sunday's. Also, people will put items in their 'watch' category, but forget about them more often if they end during the week when life is busier. Many people don't like to bid too early because it can escalate the cost, run up bids...so they wait till towards the end of an auction to bid on items of interest on their watch lists.
I don't worry so much about ending an auction listing on Sunday if it's a low ticket item, but do if it's something that I know will draw much attention from weekend Ebayers.
I re-cycle packing as much as possible. You can get free boxes at USPS, but the inner packing for safe shipping you have to buy. I use newspapers alot, but also will use peanuts that come to me in stuff I've bought...and so on. Anyway, let me know if you decide to sell and have questions. :)
I am an excellent ebayer as so I am told, I just buy, but I am thinking about doing some selling, heard the best night is Sunday, IDK One thing that bothers me about ebay is how much packaging waste there is.
And the goddamn PEANUT packaging. Makes me wanna scream LOL

Yeah Connie Jo, I am glad to have gotten an answer. them I pm'd her ass LOL. Last night's weather was crazy on the East Coast, Wind almost blew me off my feet. Almost ended up in Europe LOL

Thanks Angel and MI$$Y. Weather has sucked! We didn't get any of the earthquake here. We even had a little snow here and there! Just really cold and raining. It's just to yucky to do anything. I NEED SUNSHINE! Guess I'm spoiled. As I mentioned before... my computer is on it's last keys. I actually have keys missing, the internet connection is missing a thingy so I never know if it is going to work. I have to keep it on and plugged in all the time and I am never quite sure if it is going to wake up from "sleep mode." Its been a great computer. A Dell I have had for about 8 yrs. so I have gotten my money out of it. The only thing is, when it goes to computer heaven, I have no computer (unless I "find" one). It's my main connection to my friends because most of ya are not in my backyard or in coffee and cookies distance, lol! I'm not on that much because some days it just does not want to cooperate! I do get on Facebook just because that's were I seem to get a lot of emails. My first love is and always will be KRC. Hugs...xoxoxo
