The Charity shows & all that - really cool stuff! I am not at all surprised... my eyes were opened to it yrs ago before I even realized it. It's in a full circle kinda way. Through all the bad butt stuff, there was always heart for those misfortunate or needing a break such as Ty Stone. The bad butt guy was there to help to spite the hang over, rude/crued comments or whatever else. God showed me the best in you Mr. B, I guess to lead me in prayers for ya. The good Lord put into my heart you would help alot of folks one day & you are. God does really know best, so it seems. For some that may have missed a glimpse of the heart behind the finger :), hopefully they can see it now. Goodluck w/ all you do & God Bless You & all of Your Family always!!!

Love Jer 29:11 the verse that God gave me through BGEA letter over 14 yrs ago, & wow, what a ride it has been. Short today, off to the gym. But... :)... have to say thank you for all of your Prayers, they went straight to God's ears. I have seem Miracles, by the Grace of God happen. ( When 2 or more are gathered ;) ) Dad in ER, out in less than 2 hrs. My Sister getting a priest giving her final words... to healed that night. Me & my Family thank you... and ... thank ever so much for your Friendship. For the first time in a friendship, I don't have to be the strongest. (Sorry to have had to lean on ya so much this year ;( ) gotta go for now....

Hey Beckxy, 1BB & Momof8 - I think regardless of the growing up years, Kid Rock always had and still has a heart for people. The only thing is that the light that ALWAYS had shone through the years was in a way where sometimes maybe peeps had to... look a little close to see it. Now the same light shines, just way brighter; so, even those those with not so great vision so to speak, must admit that they see it too! I think the timing is perfect. When inspiration is no longer an extra plus to a person or the whole USA, but a NECESSITY.
It is hard for folks of all ages, I think in the public eye to live period. It takes a lot of confidence, knowing who you are, and the ability to let things roll off your back, like a duck does water. I think he did well through it all & always grew from things along the way it seems. And... with every fall, rose up again even more tall.
God Bless Him & the band for all they are giving! Ya get what ya give and so I've heard ;)
You know, Beckxy, I was thinking along those lines the other day, looking at my young adult kids and shaking my head, but knowing SOMEDAY it will all be different, and I came to the conclusion that I was glad I got to grow up privately. It would be tough to have started out young in the public eye like Kid Rock, with all your impulsive finger-flippin' youthfulness on display for the world to see and then reach your 40's with a whole different set of "heart, wisdom and faith," and somehow get that across to the public. But Kid Rock has done it, and done it well.

It's interesting to see how we grow along with life, and how so many things grow with us like our hearts, wisdom, and faith. What we once were in our twenties.. ain't what we are today. And yet it is quite humbling to be here, breath the air, and Thank the Good Lord for our blessings.
