wings under fire
the fire in your soul is so outraged and set in its ways
and the wings of a heavenly being brings you love to finally
heal what has been torn down and broken and burnt over
the years time and time you have wanted something to save
you from all the pain and nights of crying and anger that
you have went through thinking this is the only way its going
to be and angels wings have been guiding you along the way
to protect you always and you dont understand why
this special angel has been watchin over you but the things
in your life work against the angel but she has touched a place
that no one could ever touch before and she is willin to love
unconditionally no matter what comes her way because she
knows the angel has shown her the good in your heart and
that you can love again you have had bad times in the past
that have messed your life up and made it hard to live and
she has had pain and suffering that no one could ever understand
and has had fear that made her believe that it would always be this
way too and love would never come to her and has been angry
and wondering if it was her was the reason that things was the
way they were and didnt think was worth loving either but
through many patient moments of love and faith and hopes
and dreams maybe that someday those wings that have been guiding
her would bring you what you know now were the same wings that
were guiding you to her and her to you with the love and kindness
and peace that these wings known all along that someday it would
lead you both together with peace and love that would brighten up
your worlds and bring you love to heal each others pain and anger
that has suffered you for so long and the raging fire within kept you
wondering if it was your fault that these things were happening to you both
and telling you that you will never find your way on your own but
the wings of love shown its angelic smile that touched your hearts
and souls showing you the way through the rough and trying times
of life that has been so hard to go through at times and understand
that everything happens for a reason to bring new light in your life
that shows you that it wasnt your fault after all that it was the fire under the
wings trying to make her lose her way to the heaven that awaited you both
and the slightly burnt wings made it through keeping you both in the light
that was leading you to each other someday and finding the love that
has been awaiting to be found she knew all of the time that the wings were guiding
her to you and even though you couldnt see the wings under fire she was there
all of the time to see you made it to her and bringing you love that you have
wanted for so long and didnt think that you were worth having someone to care
the way that she did but you see i know this because you see your angel was
me and my angel was thee forever hand in hand will be ......
