I've been looking forward to this Saturday since April when I bought my tickets pre-sale. I have great seats center stage under pavilion and now this black cloud moving in named Irene.
With fingers crossed, we're hoping Irene doesn't hang her head in Charlotte Sat. night. Last report I heard, she is to arrive at the North Carolina coast and inland this Sat. Will the show be postponed or dreadfully canceled all together?
We're keeping an eye on the situation from Bristol, TN. What's up Charlotte?

I just flew in to Detroit from NC. Spent the morning before my flight with my NC friends getting batteries and water (had to go to 3 stores to find the "D" size because every store was sold out). My friends are in Raleigh and expect the storm to be more severe to the east. Charlotte is even further west than Raleigh. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I hope if they call it off, they call it off early so you'll know not to venture out. Take care and be safe!
I'd be careful if i was y'all. It shows on weather.com that it is hitting the whole east coast....But then again i wouldn't want to miss the show either...

I live right near Charlotte, NC . I'm not far at all! The weather is suppose to be beautiful tomorrow. A little windy tomorrow during the day, but tomorrow night it's going to be clear. Chance of rain 0%!
AHH,.. I just heard NY declared a state of emercency so as to insure funding. I also have word restoration crews are being deployed.

I called Verizon (740-549-1292) and was told the show would be cancelled if they received word from the weather center that it was unsafe to have or continue the show. This decision could be made before or during the show. Best to call before you leave to see if the show is still on; the decision wouldn't be posted on any Verizon website you'll have to call.
well the bitch "irene" is set for Sat. on NC coast..(god bless ya'll) .but still hoping wind and rain don't reach Charlotte!!!! I'M READY TO PARTY WITH MY KID ROCK PEOPLE!!!! BTW @SHELL_LOVING_KID_ROCK I'm in Sec.2 row S 21-22.
I will say it is smart to make reservations for room if you haven't cause the coast is being evacuated so everybody is heading west! Sounds like Country Inns and Suites is the place to be...making reservations now.

I have been watching Irene all week like a Hawk! I checked this morning and Charlotte is expected to be hot and sunny with a high of 92, thank goodness!!!!!
i just looked--they are telling the UPPER East Coast to brace for Irene---meaning--New York Coast, etc.
What is going to be--will be--

Think positive! Weather has defiantly been on a roar! Mother nature! What ever you want to call it.Did you see the video of them playing in Detroit? ,The rain that hit Detroit,(there is write up about it),there was a beautiful rainbow that followed.Its all good! There is angle's all around us(everyone has there own beliefs)I think kid Rock prays alot and their fans.It will be a AWSOME CONCERT!!!! No worries?, easy said, then done! that I know!

I'd say this if the hurricane does take the stage sit back...Kid Rock/Bob will make up the date and not put you @ risk i am sure of this...He had bad weather down south in the winter and those folks got it made up to them. I wouldn't trip balls right quick either and scream Bob doesn't care and now we got not show etc and he ripped us off...
Hey peeps I have tickets as well and I have been praying as well ... I guess we just need to take some gear just in case she does decide to give us some shit .. We made reservations a while back for a room cuz we heard there was alot of things happening on that nite in charlotte .. We have 28 people staying at the Country Inn & Suites by carlson charlotte univ place .. I'm soooooo Ready to party with Bobby & Cheryl ... Then on to the cruise in April . Woot woot

I'm going to the Charlotte show too. I've been FREAKING watching weather reports around the clock. Right now they're pretty sure Irene will hit the outer banks of NC which means the bad weather will be to the right and north of the storm, leaving Charlotte in the clear. The chance of rain went from 60% to 10% as of now. It's suppose to be clear with a slight breeze, and 69 degrees! It's shaping up to be a beautiful night, as of now.
Hopefully this bitch stays on this course and we will be rocking RAIN/WIND free Saturday night! It's looking good!
