    Just kind of curious who here does more then just listens to music? Who can play an instrument and play it proficiently?

     

    I write lyrics and have for over 20 years. They get better with time. I do what i call rhyme scheming, free wheeling, etc. The catch is they have to flow. You can't have something that doesn't flow consciously. I don't know how else to say it. Most times i will be driving down the road to a show listening to music and just thinking. My lastest phone has voice record. I am a beginner bass player. Just getting the basics down at this point between work, internetting, reading, and my most recent new hobby pondering my future due to an upcoming court date.

     

    What do you write about? I write about just about everything that is in my life. From the shit i go through to the shit i read. I can be sitting here reading these boards and start it up. Reading the thread about the Little Rock date got me going on here. Most times though i will just be driving down the road space acing trying to get to a show.

I don't write lyrics, but writing papers, letters, speeches come easy for me. I love to read, so i think that helps. but ask me to figure out a 5th grade math problem or help with science, and I'm sunk.
