    When life was so cruel,
    "You were there"
    When I could not find my way,
    "You were there"
    When I needed a friend,
    "You were there"
    When I was lost and confused,
    "You were there"
    When my heart was breaking ,
    "You were there"
    When you took your own life,
    I stood alone for the first time...
    Then I realized,
    When I needed you most,
    "You were not there"

    I wrote this shortly after my little brother took his life in 2003.

Thanks,I am glad you liked it.I know he is still with me.We were very close growing up and stayed that way after we were grown.Later

great writing......just keep in mind Just cause you cant see something doesnt mean its not there......keep looking for him in other places and things he'll be there
