Independent Lens: Detropia
Mondays, May 27, 10-11:30pm
Detroit was the birthplace of the middle class, an industrial utopia where anyone who worked hard enough could experience the American Dream. In the past three decades, the city has seen its might crumble as oil prices spiked, the auto industry declined and the middle class began to disappear. This new film chronicles the lives of several Detroiters trying to survive and make sense of what is happening to their city.

Of course seeing all of you, and sharing hugs yet again. <3

You know~ mine was just being with people just like me. ~Non-judgemental--VERY caring and kind----and down-to-earth-----
For the first time ever--in my entire 42years of being here----there is a place where i FINALLY felt right at home.
There are so many awesome
There are so many awesome moments but, I'd have to say The Sail-Away was awesome!! (as usual) The gift Kid sent to all of us 3-timers really made my day! It just shows how much he does respect his fans. The beach concert was the best....floating in that beautiful water in that setting, drinking a Badass beer, & our man on stage singing his heart out to us! I thought I had died & gone to heaven for a minute. And, of course, I can't say enough about the friends I've made since CTM 1. I will never miss a CTM Cruise!! It's good for the soul!! ♥
is it April yet??? I'm ready

Getting to tell Bob about the
Getting to tell Bob about the Candy Girls and hearing him say "I've heard about the work you've been doing" is definitely my personal highlight. In all honestly, the whole trip is a highlight. Seeing old friends and making new. Spending my vacation with people that "get it". Laying in the ocean listening to an amazing two hour Kid Rock show. All I kept thinking is how truly blessed I am to be here experiencing all of this. So many cherished memories and friendships. Ready to do it all over again! xoxo
For me it was the people I
For me it was the people I got to meet and BOB is the cherry on top! I saw old friends and made new friends. I got to meet Roxy after all these years which was way cool! So in love with my Kid Rock family! The only bad thing that happened was Yelowolf! I MISS ALL OF YOU!!!!! HUGS!

1. Invite to join my friend, Patty Tharpe, for the Ty Stone private party. 2. Floating alone near the ropes, my eyes closed, head back in the water, smile on my face, for the last 3 songs of the Kid's island concert - never in my life could have imagined that moment would happen. 3. Q&A time with the lady, who just retuned from her 8th tour of duty in Afghanistan (beautiful moment) and our friend, Double D, asking the last question again after losing a remarkable 154 lbs. 4. Seeing my amazing Kid Rock family, that made my husband not being on board, tolerable :) Feels good to be back in Kidrock.com boards.

Sail away was tops! I just loved loved loved hugging all the faces I've met here and on fb over the years. The video taping was so awe-inspiring. Just watching everyone and taking it all in just made me feel like a grain of sand in this amazingly big universe! It was a WOW moment. Cedars, Tammy, and Laurie, I wish I'd had a few more hours to spend with you all in Miami. I do love that town. I can not wait to see you again next year. If ANY of you come to Florida/Jupiter you'd better look us up. We have an extra house on the property for your convenience ;) come party in the woods with us! We can go out on the boat for the day and raise a flag that says, "chill'n the most"

this is a hard one paige..I
this is a hard one paige..I have different areas of my favorite part:
I loved being in Miami and Ted and I really re-connected there and it was truly a vacation..
I think not feeling rushed or like I was missing something really made this years cruise more enjoyable..
the Beasties at the sail-away was a high-lite of that show along with hearing Redneck Paradise for the first time..
although people had problems with Yelawolfs disposition, the man has a talent that can not be denied..I caught every one of his shows and support him as an artist..He totally blew me away..
but to meet, see, swap stories and take pictures with all the wonderful people that I did really made this cruise special and one for the books..
it can only get better and better from here..
Thanks to all of you for making this an unforgettable fun cruise...Much love to you all...
Triple L Blessings
