Whaddup Detroit ?? Welcome to Cowboy Country

You know its gonna be a wild night when the Sheriff's posse is on the stage and the parking lot is filled with Ambulances.

I can't miss seeing my Favorite Michigan entertainers so ofcourse I got tickets to see Uncle Kracker, Ty Stone and A band I hadnt heard of Before, Frankie Ballard.  We headed up to Cheyenne, Outlaw Saloon early and were lucky enough to get a table up front.

Since we were early we got to see and hear Krackers Soundcheck.  I got to meet Krackers security who had to keep telling me No Pictures please.  lol  Sorry dude but its Uncle Kracker God damn it. Anyway, evidently the band was going to Vegas the next day for a TV appearance and needed to get "Good To Be Me" down under 2 minutes for the show so we got to hear them play it several times.  It was great.  I dont think they succeeded tho.  lol

They didnt start till after 9 so needless to say, alot of drinking took place before they even started.  The place was sold out and Jammed with Drunk Cowboys and this is the biggest bar I've ever seen.

Ty came out 1st and gave us a great demonstation of his amazing Pipes!!!  Hes a very Humble showman and it was a pleasure to hear him belt out his new song and hear Downriver..  Great job Ty!

Then they introduced Frankie Ballard.  I had never heard of these guys and it was getting late. So I was kind of wishing they would hurry and get to Uncle Kracker.  BOY WAS I WRONG!   These guys are incredible.  They fuckin blew the doors off the joint  Excellent Guitars and Banjo.  Awesome songs. They had the crowd goin wild!  Awesome set and Ty even came back out and joined them.  It was Outstanding!!!

OKAY,  So its after midnight and these peeps were Fuckin fallin down drunk.  Broken beer bottles everywhere.  Between sets the DJ has everyone going crazy with Seger old time Rock and Roll and 80's rock.  It was wild.  Sheriff's posse looks scared!!

So FINALLY  Everyones favorite Uncle comes out with his awesome band.  Crowd goes Wild!  Now I'm a short bitch, so I have to stand on chair to see, (a guy that could have been Bossy's Twin was standing in front of me)  which also means I heve to duck alot for flying Bottles and not get knocked off chair from drunk peeps dancing like no one is watching.  lol  So my attention was on Band and self preservation.  but things were getting pretty crazy in the bar.  After 3 or 4 songs, most of the band leaves the stage and Matt sits on stool shaking his head and laughing..   "Whaddup Cheyenne"   Whats with all the fighting?  Cant we all just get along?"   It was great.

He then sang Letters to my Daughter, which made me tear up as always.  it was a great night.  most fun Ive had without getting arrested  in a long time.  All the bleeding peeps were lined up with paramedics.  We made it out ahead of the crowd. And Im pretty sure no one died cause Cowboys keep there guns in the back window of there trucks and I'm sure most them dudes couldnt find there trucks if they had too.  lol

Anyway  Thanks DETROIT!    Ya'll were great!!!
