“There’s a Ho down”
She’s flopping on the floor
Fucking wet spots galore
Saturating carpets
Saying baby give me more
I’m not keeping score
Not a 100 percent sure
But I think there’s a Ho down
I said hold on now
There’s a Ho down, there’s a Ho down
There’s a Ho down
Hold on now
There’s a Ho down
Head on a swivel
She likes it ground level
Dirty, dirty little Devil
She’s done it with several
She likes them big
And she likes them little
Don’t look now
But there’s a Ho down
Invasion of territory
Wrong girl’s block
Gotta little gory
And she done got co cocked
Face down on the side walk
Out cold and
I forgot to mention about
I forgot to mention about poor Emily at the Made in Detroit tent. The MID display was directly across from the corner where a man stood preaching. He was yelling out to everyone in the crowd about how hot it was and that the temp was nothing like what they would experience in Hell. And he was LOUD. Poor Emily had to shout over to him to answer any customers' questions. She was a trooper.

Even though he may have had a challenge, I would believe a lot of folks would see thru that, and engage in his music and talents especially that he sings from his heart; songs written about where he comes from, ect. So cool to hear the two of them are getting married soon. Thanks for sharing Laurie :)

btw- Chop, I still have your flag from the DSO concert. I meant to bring it to you at our last outing.

Val: I was mad at myself for not bringing a flag to the street fair. I thought, "Where's Val and her flag when I need her?" lol ("That flag is the shit!!!")

I shared this with Laurie and others..I listened to Ty (among others) in my car on my way up north..again I am amazed at the talent of this man. So soulful, strong, a heck of a voice and talent. Relived the memories of seeing him live at Machine Shop and on the CTM3 cruise--love him!!!!

Ty put on a nice show. He had a tough act to follow though. Usually 50 Amp Fuse plays that time slot and has for as long as I have been going so it was different for the crowd. They expect to hear a bunch of cover songs. Those who didn't know his songs were polite, though. Ty did some covers (Mellencamp, and a portion of Only God Knows Why since there were cruisers in the crowd). I saw Luann and Al there from the cruise. I didn't stand in the front since I had my handicapped nephew with me. We sat near the sound tent. I saw Ty before the show, talked to him and his fiancee AND managed to buy 12 bottles of Badass Beer for the band (the last at the Clark gas station located across from the fair). The Downriver crowd appreciated the fact that Ty was a downriver boy. The band shelter was in a new location this year. It allowed for more room, which was nice. I talked to the mayor (father of a friend of mine) and we chatted about the city's finances. He's a smart guy so I hope he can steer the city in the right direction. He wasn't mayor at the time when some really poor decisions had been made. Allen Park is pretty much bankrupt because of a failed movie studio deal.
I asked Ty if he were going on the cruise and he said he wouldn't know until about a month before. He did say wedding bells are planned for next year. Val seems really sweet.
It was a beautiful summer night with a full moon in sight. I am glad I went but had to leave a little early because I was heading to Cedar Point in the morning so I didn't see how the crowd reacted at the end of the show.
