    Kid Rock's love of hunting is about to get a big boost - outdoorsman Ted Nugent has offered him lessons.

    The rocker has just bought a home in Alabama in the heart of hunting country - and he spends every spare moment there "hunting, drinking and hanging out", and he's about to get a lesson in shooting and surviving from the ultimate bow man.

    Kid Rock tells the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine, "I've been doing a lot more (hunting) lately... Ted Nugent is supposed to teach me to bow-hunt soon.

Ted Nugent Offers Hunting Enthusiast Kid Rock Bow Lessons

Kid Rock's love of hunting is about to get a big boost - outdoorsman Ted Nugent has offered him lessons.

The rocker has just bought a home in Alabama in the heart of hunting country - and he spends every spare moment there "hunting, drinking and hanging out", and he's about to get a lesson in shooting and surviving from the ultimate bow man.

Yep, Alabama is red, lol. As I've said before, as long as he cleans and eats it, he can hunt all he wants. The day I find out they freight in turkeys or game.......

Kid's learning from a pro, Ted's one serious hunter...a little too serious, lol but, to each his own ;/

I got elk at my cabin (but you need a special permit which I guess are really hard to get and you get it through a lottery system)

I am happy that Bob has some land that he loves, but I just hope he doesn't love it enough to leave Michigan! We've got bow season up here too and some big ass bucks!

Yes , depending on the bow , there are ways to cheat lol, I agree you gotta be very strong to accurately hit the buck .
I admire Ted , a while back I was reading a hunting magazine , he had started or was a part of a junior hunting org.
The caption read something like you wanna keep your kids off the streets teach them to hunt.
I think that's awesome. Hell, he even sells his own line of bows and Omy gosh he has a hydraulic deer stand lol . Very cool
I love hunting season . The camo the fires the sweet smell of doe scent (yuk) and the thrill of the kill . Damn I'm getting excited time to get the corn feeders and shoot houses ready.

Bob wants to master long bow, he'd better start strengthening exercises now. Was pretty accurate with archery when I was a kid, but, that's nothing compared to drawing back and holding a long bow long enough to kill a deer.
