NEW YORK (AP) — Kid Rock is a scalper.
The 42-year-old Grammy winner, who is launching a summer tour where most tickets are priced at $20, said he's scalping about 1,000 tickets from each show to make up for the cheaper regular price.
"I'm in the scalping business, but you know what? We told everyone. A lot of artists have been doing this for years behind fans' backs, taking all these backdoor deals," he said. "We look at StubHub and other places and see what they're selling them for and we just undercut them."

UGH!I have been a fan for as long as I remember and have gone to darn near every show in my area for as long, I joined the KRC too late to receive a presale password for the DSO concert and it is the night before tickets go on sale to the public and already losers have tickets on stubhub for way over face......
We rocked out last night at the KR concert @ The Hard Rock Hotel in Tulsa. We've been to three KR Concerts and they were all a little different but all AWESOME! We're ready to go again!

I don't think Kid "supports" Romney. All articles I've read have said he would have let ANYONE use his song for their campaign.
Is it possible for you to send the announcement for presales out any earlier than the day before the sale? I didn't get mine until 4:00 this afternoon and the presale started at 10am so I totally missed it, and am SOOOOO upset! I can't afford the $250 tickets that are left. I wish I could...but I cant. And I don't like missing concerts by my man!
It would be great if you would list ticket max on the presale info. I was fighting with ticketmaster all morning when they said only 2 ticket max for pre sale when their website said 4 ticket max. I needed 3 tix.

I have seen you in concert 3 times and have loved every show! Will you be coming back to the Ohio or Michigan area anytime soon? My husband has never been able to attend a show, as he is in the Air Force and seems to be in the Middle East every time you come. Hey, I'm not sure if you'll see this, or if I'll get a response, but I thought I'd take a stab at it. I'm a huge Kid Rock fan, I've got all your albums, went and seen ya 3 times in Nashville,TN. I'm right on the KY/Tenn boder, straight up I-65. Nne of my friends went on a cruise and seen ya. (I didn't make that one..lol) Anyways, I know we all have our political beliefs, but why do you back and support Mitt Romney? Cause he's from Mighigan? I've watched all the debates, read numerous articles on all the candidates, and I fully support Ron Paul. I know your a HUGE supporter of our men and women over seas, and have traveled over there to entertain them. Trust me when I say this, or do some research, but RON PAUL gets more Military contributions from our men and women serving, then all of the GOP Candidates combined. So why not support and back him? I'm the same age as you, and my best friend went over there when I was in college in 1991, he's been back 3 times now, and here it is 2012 and we're still there.
Sorry for taking up your time, but when I seen this on the news and where you backed him, I just had to ask why. I don't work for Ron Paul or am I trying to seek votes for him, but he makes more sense then all those other's when he speaks. I went to to the Houston Livestock & Rodeo concert last night. I was a good show; I really enjoyed it. However, I could have enjoyed it more if I had some BADASS American Larger to drink!
