stubhub has tix in 400,500,600 sections for around $250 each how does this happen?not supposed to be on sale till sat.these are your shows you should be able to control how and when tix are distributed.i will be there one way or another if i can be in town, but its not fair that if i buy on presale i cant give my tix to a friend but obviously someone can buy better seats than i can get and sell them at 250 percent profit.

Sometimes i really miss the old days of waiting outside an arena for tickets to go on sale the first day. The old school style of ticket lottery. But in reality i work and couldn't do this anyway. Sure there were scalpers then too. Just not as many of them were around.

I got a feeling Live Nation and Ticketmaster are gonna get a helluva of a lesson this summer concert series anyway. Their ticket prices are way high on most all shows, the economy is for shit, gas is so high everyone has to figure that into the ticket equation as well, and good jobs are few and far between. I predict this is the year TICKETMASTER takes a bath on shows money wise. I mean Journey/Foreigner/Night Ranger lower pavilion tickets are $162.00 for fucksake. Def Leppard/Heart lower pavilion are $122.00. Motley Crue/Poison/New York Dolls lower pavilion are $117.80. The attendance is gonna be so lopsided it isn't even gonna be funny. You are gonna see full lawns and speckled pavilions. Those are just some shows i have interest in besides Kid Rock. Quite honestly i only see myself paying for one lower pavilion besides Kid Rock. If i go to the others they will be from the lawn. Or perhaps i will get a ticket upgrade for $10 like Live Nation is known to do when they are taking it in the ass on a show. That and i will be seeing many free shows like Rib America, Fair St. Louis, Summer Concert series, etc. I am a person that generally hits at least 5-10 summer pay concerts. This year i may hit 5 and more then likely 3 will be from the lawn. So ticketmaster will have fucked themselves out of about $200 from me for being greedy if not considerably more...

They do it all the time. It is claimed they have bots that can get them in and help them get tickets. Personally i have been told it is ticketmaster, venues, and the artist that allows this to happen. NO i am not saying that, it is what i have been told. That ticketmaster, venues, and artists themselves scalp their own tickets. I honestly believe most of it is ticketmaster, it is the only explanation that makes sense. It just keeps going on and on. You never hear of ticketmaster doing a thing in the world about it either. That and venues do it. I know one in particular that i frequent in St. Louis. It is a smaller venue who i am almost 100% positive does it. So many of their "supposed" shows sell out yet their tickets for said sold out shows are all over every ticket brokers site one would think to look.

Last tour i noticed Kid Rock tickets on the brokers sites way before they even went on pre-sale and at crazy inflated prices. I think Kid is right too. DO NOT BUY FROM BROKERS OR SCALPERS. That is the best way to end it. If no one buys from them then they lose money and sooner or later will fold. At a show it doesn't matter anyway. That and wait until they are reducing the price so as not to totally eat the ticket. Make them take a huge loss if at all possible.

Most security will not keep you out of closer seats as long as someone who holds a ticket there doesn't happen to be being kept out of their seat. At Riverport/Live Nation i see it all the time. Open seats within the first 10 rows. Chances are if the main act is on and no one is in those seats you will have no problem sliding up and taking them. I never have and i have done it over and over. Of course you have to have a ticket in that section to begin with, but lower pavilion usually isn't that hard to get if you buy your ticket at the right time.
