    Sheryl Crow=Shorter Setlist?
    Grease1739 says (05 Apr '11)

I've only seen Kid when he opened for Aerosmith back in 2002, and I remember being blown away by his setlist.  I think he played for over an hour.

For those who have been to his shows; how long does a typical setlist/concert normally last?
Also, do you think b/c Sheryl Crow is kind of a big act , that this will cut into Kid's setlist? Normally openers play about 45 minutes, but I could see them giving her about 90 minutes, and hope this doesn't cut into Kid's setlist.  I hope not, but just curious what others think.  I'm seeing the first show of the tour, so I guess I will just have to wait and see what his setlist looks like at the show....kind of cool anyway.

I bought my tickets today about 15 seconds into the presale and was already at row 22!  Should be a sold out show, and I have seen Sheryl Crow before and was pleasantly surprised that she can hold her own on the "rock scene".

    Can't wait!

I was a Saginaw 2nd show of Born Free tour. Ty Stone and Jamie Johnson played first. Kid still play for over 2 hours. Awesome show.

Kid usually plays for a good 2 hours! I don't think having Sheryl on the bill will deter that - I'm sure they will be jamming together as well! He ROCKS the house, you will not be disappointed!

He started earlier at the Knob (DTE) when I went last summer. It was closer to 8:30.

I have seen Kid numerous times. I always get the time he is schedule to come from someone who went the night before or from an usher at the venue. Last summer at DTE in Detroit, he hit the stage at 8:50 and played until 11:00 pm. (Performers have to be done @11:00 due to local rule)

I would say Sheryl should hit the stage for at least an hour. She has a new album out and other songs. She might even get more time. They need about 20 minutes between sets and expect him to play for 2 full hours.

I would expect her to come back on stage for at least 3 songs with Kid when he is out there. They did Picture, Collide and another one at Ford Field in Jan.
