this, apparently, the original version of "Rovin' Gangster". Called "Rollin", it was recorded at the White Room Studios sometime in the mid-90s. some interesting twists in the lyrics, and 2/3 of the way through there is some quirky samples (I think they're samples) that I can't make out.

    enjoy~

this was the part I thought was particularly interesting, near the beginning. After "writing no rhymes", its a verse that doesn't make it on the final version:

"If I ain't stabbed in the back, I ain't writin' no rhymes
I seen what is and all that wasn't shit
my soul is cold and on the world I spit
I got the grits and the fuse and the fire makes three
one every month on the TBT
I'm twisted brown, pissing on clowns
pumpin' through your kicker with the redneck sounds"

I'm not sure about the line "one every month on the TBT"... I think he's saying something else about TBT but I can't catch it yet. but I like this verse, kinda angry and aggressive but oddly not bitter, that line that the young can walk better than we can. and was the "pissing on clowns" another Insane Clown Posse reference that he changed his mind about? hm...
