Ok, this has nothing to do with Kid Rock but I just had to share this with you all. I was eating with my daughter and her two friends yesterday after school (the girls were starving) at a diner and this man comes up to our table. He politely asked if he could pay for our meals. I said "excuse me?" and then he said he's a millionaire but he's a poor man. He hands me a $20 bill and a business card that read: Secrets of a Poor Man...Enjoy your day! I looked at the owner of the diner and he nodded his head up and down, signaling to me "yes." The owner later told me the man does stuff like this all the time. I thanked the man and told him although it was very sweet, I would take the money and donate it to the family that was tragically beaten recently in Farmington Hills (metro Detroiters reading this should know their story since it has been huge news). My friends on here know I am friends with this family and I have been wearing a bracelet with one of the victim's names on it as a sign of hope. Anyway, the "Poor Rich Man" knew about the family's situation and asked how they were. We chatted a bit and I then gave him my "hope" bracelet. Guys, this tragedy has brought out the good in so many people. There are really good people out there still. The girls with me had tears in their eyes.
And if you could please say some prayers for this family, I would be grateful. They certainly need them. Thanks.
