    Plymouth, MI Ice Festival...free event

all weekend long. The festival runs today, beginning at 3 p.m. and goes until Sunday at 6 p.m. See master ice carvers creating beautiful sculptures. Wear warm clothes, especially boots, because it's ALWAYS cold but vendors will have food and hot chocolate on hand for purchase. If you have never gone, I guarantee it's a neat event to see. Bring the kids, but make sure they have plenty of layers on. The Box Bar near the park has a great beer menu, btw.

Plymouth is a great town. In the Summer they have concerts in the park every Friday or Saturday night. Tecumseh is also having an ice carving festival this weekend. It is only the 4th year for our town. I was downtown today and it was pretty busy, although tomorrow will be better with the cold air. Way too much wind today. There is one event on Sunday called "Man Cave Activities" I am not sure what that is, but it might be interesting. And there is snow shoe races which should be strange because we have no snow?!
