It happened in Texas
This Bluesman was spawned
This young man was reckless
Partied until dawn
This young man from Texas
Name of
Stevie Ray Vaughn
This song’s for him
Texas Bluesman that’s gone
First time that I heard him
It was kind of disturbing
These riffs that he served
Jangled my nerves
True to the Blues
Stevie never swerved
True to the blues
Til he left this Earth
Les Paul was in Awe
Watching Stevie claw
Those steel strings bending
Listen to him
Blister that Gibson
Master of that Caster
It was me he was after
Got me too
When I heard those Blues
Only Stevie

Imagine hearing the unmistakable sound of a baseball meeting the full force of Hall of Famer Al Kaline’s bat at Tiger Stadium. Imagine feeling the thrill as the solid, brass-colored elevator doors slowly opening onto the 12th floor of downtown Hudson’s, revealing aisle upon aisle of your favorite toys.

Before Kid Rock presented Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with the Best Rap Song Award at last night’s Billboard Music Awards, he took a moment to throw some shade at … kid rockers. "Let's give it up for people lip-synching under pre-recorded music," he told the star-studded audience.

The Billboard Music Awards don’t have the following of the Grammys or even the American Music Awards, but as Sunday night’s show demonstrated, they certainly hold their own in terms of drama.
I think we were standing next to you in mansfield, front row? You were wearing the kr sparkly shirt you have on now,my husband had a black kr shirt and I had a pink made in detroit shirt, and stef gave you her drumstick at the end of the show.

Miss Kim so much, she would have been all over "Let's Ride" and the new CD.
Peace, Luv, and Rock n Roll. The simple things in life.
