In the past three decades, the city has seen its might crumble as oil prices spiked, the auto industry declined and the middle class began to disappear. This new film chronicles the lives of several Detroiters trying to survive and make sense of what is happening to their city.

Wow! Thanks for the info.....and thanks to Jade. I have wondered what "my arms are too short to box with God meant.". I knew it wasn't disrespectful to God because I hear his connection to God come through clearly in his lyrics. However, I have always found it curious. I think I just found a site I will have to check out a bit...after all, I can think of a few other questions too! And way to go to the fans that are making the world a better place by helping others. Think the first two groups of folks sound pretty amazing. You donate at your own risk, since they are not officially Kid Rock sanctioned, but, I have never heard a negative word about either group, and if you can give assistance, super.
Any other groups out there operating under the Kid Rock banner that others may know of? If so, would appreciate if folks would pop the links in this thread and explain their group.
Also a reminder that folks who feel they have projects worthy of consideration for funding should officially apply to the Kid Rock Foundation. Just hit the link above and apply per the guidelines.
Here, it seems Bob donates big and little dollar amounts to folks who qualify for help. If you don't ask, you don't get. It's worth a try, rather just coming here leaving a message to beg for your charity, I think he and his team would appreciate folks who take the time to APPLY.
Just begging for attention is OK, but, you are leaving it up to folks who run this site, and/or watch this site, to get to Bob, then call you. The Kid Rock Foundation might be a more logical choice.
