Detroit comes together to fight hunger on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Sound Board inside Motor City Casino-Hotel, as Paradime, Trick
Trick and Dirty Americans play live to benefit Forgotten Harvest.
While no tickets are required for this event, a donation of at least $20 to
Forgotten Harvest is requested at the door. Forgotten Harvest is a local
organization founded in 1990 to fight hunger and waste. The mission of
Forgotten Harvest is to relieve hunger in the Detroit metropolitan
community by rescuing surplus, prepared and perishable food and donating
it to emergency food providers.
All three artists chosen to perform at this benefit concert come from Southeastern Michigan and are
passionate about helping to feed the citizens of this area. Paradime is
known for his solo hip hop career and as the DJ for Kid Rocks Twisted
Brown Trucker Band. Trick Trick is known for his hardcore hip hop sound
and hit single From the D. He has recorded with Eminem, Kid Rock, Ice
Cube, Esham and Paradime. Lastly, Dirty Americans will also take the
stage at Sound Board. Their raw rock combines the sounds of Southern and
psychedelic rock to create one all their own. They have shared the
stage with Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent and Kid Rock.
Motor City Casino-Hotel is located at 2901 Grand River in Detroit. Doors will open
at 7 p.m. and ages 21 and older are welcome. For more information call
