I swear some days the ppl in my life are incessant about being assholes to me and then wonder why i want to leave for good. Just get a map out or google someplace and go there. Find a job, find a decent place to live and check out of my current life.
Perhaps i may be a bit crazy...but perhaps i might be the most sane person you know?
I doubt this happened. It's hard for KR to do anything without it getting to the papers or youtube. Too many cell phones with video. I haven't read any articles on it and I just searched again in youtube and didn't find anything. It is possible, but it would have been his only night off that weekend. He may have gone to Nashville to visit his son while he was only a few hours away - but I don't know for sure.

I wonder if he is thinking about KR playing during the Tootsie's celebration after his concert at the Ryman in Nashville. I don't think Hank was there, but it would have been an impromptu show and not on his regular schedule. That happened on Wednesday, November 23.
Good luck - I have lazy friends like that too - I just tell them what I know and let them prove it happened.

The concert was supposedly on Friday, November 11th, again in Nashville. Not sure the name of the bar but do you know if KR had a show that night? Again, I find this unlikely but was hoping someone can confirm. Yes, he should prove it happened but he's ignorant and lazy like that so I figured the KR message board would be the best source to get the info from. Thanks again!!
I doubt that they were in Nashville. He had that re-scheduled concert at The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL.
From what I have read, Hank doesn't like to leave the ranch very often. I know they COULD have done it, but it would have to be after the concert (11pm), then go with Hank to fly to Nashville, then start the party....Doesn't sound right.
They may have surprised some locals in AL with a short stop, but I doubt they did any kind of a "show" together.
Kid does not mess around on the day of a show. He waits until after the show to start the party.
If you know the name of the bar, you could try to find it on youtube - I'm sure someone would have taped at least a little bit of it. I tried with their names and the date and didn't find anything at a bar - only the Wharf show with KR only.
