I am more than a little pissed at the no tailgating policy for the upcoming monday night show. The traffic situation getting to this venue is horrible, and now that they are not going to open the parking lots until late means that even if you get in, get parked, and run to your seat, you will still miss the opening band. And as much as I love KR, I also love Leroy Powell, and he is a big reason why I picked this show over others that he wasn't playing at. So now none of us get to hang out before the show, see friends that we only see once or twice a year, and get to miss the band we paid alot money to see.
Please, if someone reads this, tell Kid Rock to not support Jiffy Lube Live again. There are ALOT of tickets still available for the show - it is nowhere near close to selling out, and my first thought was that people were crazy! But now I realize it's b/c JLL sucks as a venue, and no one wants to go there anymore. I certainly don't. Maybe a suggestion would be Merriweather, it is a much better venue that is close by, and they allow tailgating.

its interesting how much they enforced that it this show. I know in Hershey there was supposed to be the same policy but we saw lots of people doing it. (but we also know the area well, so we met at a bar close by anyway, which was a little easier than the parking lot).
I hate that they make these big shows so complicated. I hate going to stuff like this. and yes, I'm ver glad to have seen the video clip of him slamming Jiffy Lube for it... way to go Bob!
Fool the KID once shame on you; Fool him twice....I don't think so! Glad Bob stood up for his hard working fans! Too many out there with the almighty $$$$ being the end all and be all. Don't get me wrong it's nice not to worry about paying the piper but, THINIGS ARE JUST THINGS, CAN'T TAKE'EM WHEN WE GO AND OUR KIDS JUST FIGHT OVER'EM WHEN WE GO. No use in ripping off your fans for MORE THINGS! Glad Bob pays it forward and shows apreciation to the "Butter on His Bread of Life"

Yea... I've read awhile back that the cops at this venue are like hawks... so for anyone going in and out with a lil liquor stank on their breath... Be VERY CAREFUL !!!! Don't wanna see anyone get arrested.. ya know. Geno and I don't really need to worry cuz we've cut out a lotta of the vices.. it's been about 30 days and feeling rather good ; ) We'll get two beers at the vip tent.. and maybe buy another for the show... but we can't really afford much more then that. Bethel killed us on the beer tab.. 4 beers = 40 bucks.. could of got 2 cases for that.. CrAzy shit right there !! Hope Jiffy's beers aren't as much as Bethel's. May do a couple shots of vodka in a water bottle... in the car or walking to the gate to loosen up before going in... they'll never know ; )
Bex, the website says 4pm, and I believe that you can't even hang out in the parking lot. They make you leave the car and head to your seat asap. Drinking will get you a citation, and supposedly 2 weeks ago they were walking dogs around in the parking lot. Just not going to be what I wanted to do! I just wanted to meet up and hang out with everyone for a little bit...now just not so sure what the best thing to do is?
What time do they plan to open the parking lots up?
