Rawhide - and this one goes out to our #1 Fan Cheryl!!! and MATTER OF FACT, let's also give a nod out to our #2 fan Angel!!
Rollin Rollin Rollin
Though the streams are swolling
Keep them dogies rollin Rawhide
Rain and wind and weather
Held bent for leather
Wishing my gal was by my side
All the things I'm missing
Good vittles love and kissing
Are waiting at the end of my ride
Move 'em on head' em up
Head 'em up move' em up
Move 'em on head' em up
Rawhide
Count 'em out , ride 'em in
Ride 'em in count 'em out
Count 'em out, ride 'em in
Rawhide
Keep moving moving moving
Though their disapproving
Sometimes it's hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times
Doin things that you don't understand
But if you love him
You'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
And if you love him
Oh, be proud of him
Cause after all he's just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
when nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Anybody and I know there are a few out there living with constant pain not the mild kind the lot that take meds that thin your blood to the point if you were ever in a car accident you would bleed to death. Dick I was was told over the last 3 years went from doctor to doctor to have them scratch thier heads and say DONT KNOW..yeah he was 71 and a race car driver. he also had the rough stuff too the emotional stuff his granddaughter that he loved dearly died at 16 and he couldnt ever get over that hurdle.
Sorry, maybe I didn't explain it right. On the cruise Kid said the SINGLE and video for "Redneck Paradise" will be released in the spring.
I'm not sure if that is the title of the new CD, or not? I haven't seen anything about the title yet.
My thought is that he will release a single in September, release the new CD late fall - November? (Which is what he did with RRJ and Born Free) He will set up the tour for all of 2013 and release "Redneck Paradise" as the second single in the spring to go along with the cruise as a cross-promotion.
According to what was said on the cruise: "Redneck Paradise" is supposed to be released in the spring. It's kind of a countryish sound. It reminds me of a combination of "God Bless Saturday" and "Flyin' High" from Born Free - if that makes any sense. It's basically a party sing-along song.
The new CD is supposed to be released this fall. I think Kid is doing the CD himself - with Marlon, so I would expect something similar to the Cocky/Self-Titled/RRJ range. He is planning on touring all of 2013 to support the new CD.
If you check out the Youtube video of the Q&A from the boat - on one of them he gets asked if this will be a fun CD. He said it will be and then he starts rapping. I'm assuming the rap is part of one of the new songs.
I think it would be easier to ask Rock to respond himself. Other then maybe the Twisted Brown Trucker band i am not sure who else would know. I have heard tell of a song called "Redneck Paradise" that made a debut of sorts on the island on the cruise. I have heard nothing else other then Rock saying he has worked on it @ times in interviews and such.
I think we all have wondered about the next album that listen to his music. I guess it is a wait and see type of thing. You just better hope he isn't like Def Leppard used to be in the 80's. They put many years between albums and would be talking about the fact that they were recording for 2-3 years @ a time. Which IMO is ridiculous. Either you can write the record or not. It is a kind of shit or get off the pot type of thing to me. It was always well we want it to sound a certain way and basically be perfect was what DL would basically say. Translation: they were trying to create but create an album that would sell and that the fans expected. I always think of Rockstar the movie when i think of some bands in the 80's making music and have said it many times. We put enough of what the fans expect that will keep them coming back and buying our records so they don't begin to fancy the stylings of say Ratt.... And yest back in the day you expected some rockers on there, a ballad or two, some mid tempo rockers and some like myself were up for some diversity in what was left.
