Need to ask about Charity wish for a selftaught drummer...jenwhoflys says (24 Aug '09)Would like to reach Kid Rock or his security that has worked with us at the Palace; I got involved with Make A Wish and we have a young man who has expressed liking Kid Rock and we are having his self designed drums built and in the next 6 to 8 weeks they will be ready for presentation to him - thought Kid might like to be part of that surprise and was hoping to hear from him or his staff as to whether that would be possible.

Jennifer, he does get involved in some Make A Wish stuff, it just isn't a featured site on his Official links page.
I would also call his management team in Nashville, Vector Management, and see if they can forward the request to him.
Nice of you to do this for him, hope he gets his wish....

Thanks BlueSuedeShoes - but the Links and Charity were checked before I joined the community - Kid does Rainbow Connection - Not Make-a-Wish and since the Palace is like a second home to him (DTE too) I thought someone would be able to reach him easier than my sitting at Hoops trying to connect with Motor City Smitty who might be able to get the message to Kid - but there are the place he likes to eat....seriously - it's a simple request that if he can - that would be great. The kids playing is on YouTube!!!
KidRockAngel I am involved with Make A Wish - always talking to Bobbie when he visits or I work his show I just thought I would ask...if he could...or if someone could tell me how to reach someone to ask...my partner and I thought it would be a nice surprise when the young man gets his drums that he designed...thanks for your help.
Jennifer to get the young man included in the Make a Wish Foundation, for Bob, go to his official fan site, www.kidrock.com and hit the "links" section. There you will find a link to the Make a Wish Foundation, where you may submit the request.
